I think Kelly bolts if ND goes at least 9-3

I think you are no better than Mo1e and wish you would stay trolling on the Indiana board. Just so you know, there is no more a despicable liar on these boards than Mo1e and you are getting close to him.

Kelly may leave no matter how they do. Change is not always a bad thing. Who I would want? Someone hungry, someone that will go right up to the edge to win.....someone young.
From a scheme pov, I dont care provided they get the proper material for said scheme.

Having said that why on earth would you even start a new thread like this. I mean really. Kelly might stay 10 years....or might get fired by mid season. Who the **** knows.

I think the Indiana Drizzle bolts mama's basement if she doesn't cut off the crust on the sandwiches anymore.

I believe that he knows that you can't win consistently at ND. Not in this day and age.

well 11 wins and NFL interest is a minimum. The team has to look and play 'special' in a manner to generate opinions by NFL GM's that he can step up.

Based on recruiting, he has put his eggs into this one big basket...he must win big this year. 2012 may have been lucky if compared with all his other mediocre seasons. If he should pull off another 12-0 season, he may actually convince NFL GM's that he is a good coach. However, will the pressure of a bog payday cause him to make the same old bone head decisions like he did with Northwestern? If we make the playoffs, he is gone. No doubt in my mind.

I was wondering when this topic would pop it's head up again. I hear the Oklahoma and Georgia coaches might be looking for new homes this December if their teams don't win big. There's Diaco and Martin with head coaching experience or you could promote VanGorder. I would sure hate seeing these assistant coaches scattered in the wind. You know my position and I'm tired of stating the obvious.

Well, it is a topic that is relevant. Before the biggest game of his life, he was scheduling an Interview with the Eagles. No getting around this. He as NFL aspirations,

Diaco? Martin? Holy cow I don't like Kelly but your choices would send ND back to 3-9 again.

This could be the dumbest thread on the board. Let's see, he has stayed six years. He had a top ten recruiting class last year. He just negotiated a new contract in the last two years. His family is extremely involved in the local community. I could continue, but I think you get the point.

This is simply a dumb thread posted by one of the less intelligent posters on this site. Recruits, don't worry. Brian Kelly isn't going to leave ND anytime soon.

His extension through the 2017 season was announced the weekend of the Temple game.

If Georgia or Oklahoma jobs open up, Tim Beckman is looking for work. Brady Hoke is off the market as I have already given the Illinois job to him. BK is going nowhere fast. Just in case, I have already sent my people to go have a sit down with Urban's and Gruden's people.

Can someone get Hoosier Storm an appt. with the OZ? He needs a brain. He thinks he is witty. He is a NITWIT.

And yet you have never honestly cited one l Iie I have ever told. Because there are none. You wouldn't know the truth if it kissed you on the lips. You calling ANYONE a liar takes hypocrisy to another level. You make Hoosier Storm look like Mother Teresa when it comes to lying and honesty.

BK said he loves coaching at ND and is more comfortable on the college level. Hey IF he goes 7-5 again he could be in trouble . A 9-3 season is a bit underachieving IMO based on expectations this year. The decision to go with Zaire will decide his future one way or another. He is a good HC but IMO has been a rocky road outside the 12-0 season. Still 2012 counts for the body of work.

I hate to say it, but if you heard him on Dan Patrick the other day, he's bringing out his "political" speak. Dan asked a very good question about college offenses, and BK's in particular, working in the NFL and BK gave what sounded like a very good interview answer. I'd bet he's preparing for the call and eventual interview, but can I blame him?

Well, if it only takes a very good interview answer to be labeled as ready to jump to the NFL, your list is damn long. Kelly isn't going anywhere.

Really?!?!?

You think he isn't thinking of the next step? Ask the UC players whom he had at the time, two of whom I coached in HS, about how his political answers led to his next move. Can you blame him though?!?! ND is the epitome of college FB over the univ of cincy. But I can say that I WANT A COACH WHO WANTS THE NFL. Crazy, perhaps, but if I'm hiring anyone, no matter the position, I don't want them to be satisfied with their position to which I've hired them. I want a coach who thinks he can take over an NFL franchise and win Super Bowls. Truth be told, I'm not sure how long my list is or what that even means, but I know that I certainly don't begrudge the man if it's true.

It may mean that we have HC turnover every 7 years or less, but I am ok with that. I hope we get the coach who wants to move on. Give me passion and drive and let's try to grab lightning in a bottle. It's not a bad thing. It's a very very good thing in my opinion. And that is just it. It's only my opinion. I can't tell you for certain until the ink is dry on the contract.

Huge errors in your logic (not unusual for you). One, UC is not ND. Two, what you want means nothing. How is that not obvious to you unless you are completely full of yourself? Three, having the passion to stay at ND and win NCs at the most storied program in college football is, for some men, the top of the food chain. Just because it is not for you doesn't mean much, at all. BK isn't going anywhere.

Huge errors in your ability to read, I'm sorry to say. I stated that UC is not ND, they aren't even in the same stratosphere. Get your head out of the sand though and drop your presumptions. You don't know any better then I what BK thinks behind closed doors. You presume to know me: "not unusual for you." You think that I'm against you? I'm not. We both want the same thing. A Notre Dame national championship. I love what I see in Kelly and I truly think he can get us there. I have a different opinion about coaches moving to the NFL than you do. And that's just what it is. For you to state that BK isn't going anywhere is just plain silly AND A COMPLETE HYPOCRISY of what you accused me of in your post. You and I have no idea what that man is thinking.

Your perceptions are just wrong. Your in wishful thinking territory. I do know some of the people around him better than you do. He isn't going anywhere. For you to come up with some poorly formulated logic as to why he will move on and then post it as almost fact is complete hypocrisy. Please stop.

Why are you still trying to argue? We have different opinions, get over it. I'm not the one making statements claiming them as facts. You think he's here for the long haul...cool. I think he'll move up with enough success...whoopee. If you want me to say that you can piss further in the snow then so be it. But you aren't going to change my opinion.

NDLB46

is your ID indicative of being a former (LB) ND player?

I agree with you comments but on this forum it is never going to gain understanding.

You are feeding the troll HoosierStorm by finding someway to agree with his nonsense. I am telling you, based upon what people around BK are saying, he isn't going anywhere, regardless of the success of this season. THe only way that could be clearer would be if BK himself posted his intentions on this thread. Please stop feeding the troll.
