Dude, why are we stopping at Hudson Card, let's go for the real prize, the mullet man himself, the second coming of Jeff George, Quinn Ewers. Supposedly he's going to hit the portal again, on account of the arrival of the blue blood heir to the QB throne in Arch Manning. Is that his official name by the way, 'Arch'? Archibald, maybe? I think I'll start calling him Archibald. I guess they say 'Arch' because Archie's already taken. How adorable......
Ive only watched him once but he's more talented than Pyne and Mcnamara. Id have to watch more
I'm sure you are smart enough to know He's named after his Grandpa. Who goes by Archie.
I never thought he would be. He's not much better than our qbs and he decommitted from us.

Exactly why I continue to say ND is not about winning. 6-6 and 8-4 is the new norm for ND. The admin. doesn’t want to win big here. They refuse undergrad transfers and the NIL. Times have changed, if you do not adjust with the times you get left in the dust.

Card or Mcnamara is an upgrade to what we have now. Havent watched enough of Card to comment so therefore not sure which one is better.
Who isn't? Nasty, I know. But you guys need a real QB who can throw and run. Ewers better than Card from this season. Hope you get him.
From what I’ve seen, he looks a lot like Buchner, likely better passer.

I’ll keep my sources private, but Card has “very high interest in ND.” NDs interest level is not known, but I assume if Card is that highly interested, this will pick up steam pretty soon and ND is probably interested in this one and getting him on campus. It was reported that, due to COVID, he apparently has 3 years of eligibility remaining, if he wants to use it, but I’m not sure that’s true. If ND wants him, I think we will be hearing about this soon.

Just my guess here. ND would probably love to have him but he likely can’t get in since he’s an undergrad.
Here to eat crow! Card never indicated that he wanted to leave Texas at any point, and he made it clear that he wanted to be coached and developed by Sark. Luckily for ND, things change.
I watched several of his high school games while he was at Lake Travis. Seems to be a little further along than Buchner and more upside than Pyne. If I was ND, I would try to get him on campus and potentially get a workout or two with him. Leary and Card are the two names I would be interested in. However, Card is an academic junior, so he would have to transfer in as an undergraduate senior which may pose some issues with admissions. Definitely will be interesting to see how the staff plays their cards (pun intended).

Not at all, I’m merely looking for substantiation via verification !
When someone makes a claim of that nature they have an obligation to supprt their claim with concrete evidence.
Or do you think that outrageous claims should go unchallenged and accepted as true ?
He’s an excellent runner. Watch more tape. He was a dual threat in high school. Very good runner but he passes more bc he’s a better passer. He would be fun to watch at ND. I doubt his credits transfer so he’ll likely go to Mississippi or something. NDs stubborn ways may bite them again.
Sark is on a hook! If he doesn’t start Arch he will probably get fired. QE may actually be much better, but Arch is starting day 1. Texas has had a string of Fr. QB’s; not going to win anything doing that. Look for QE to look at UF or UW or even LSU!
The Manning's have publicly stated that they want Arch to redshirt. So this is not exactly true. However, I agree with you that come year two, he is on the field and he is not getting pulled no matter how many picks he throws. There is little chance Ewers gets to play to his full potential at Texas. It's a real problem that I would never take on. If I were Sark, I would much rather have a Dante Moore or Nelson that I could mold and discipline to my standards in any way I see fit, like an at will employee. While CJ Carr has a big name, the Carr family is down to earth and they are not going to nose their way into Freeman's affairs the way the Manning family will at UT. CJ will win the job and he and ND will be a better for it. Arch will get the job regardless and deep down he knows it.
