The NCAA announced this evening that its DI Council approved changes to the transfer portal windows in football, men's basketball and women's basketball.
The transfer portal entry window will be open for 20 days in December and 10 days in April. The dates for this academic year are Dec. 9-28 and April 16-25. There was consideration given to eliminating the spring window totally, but that didn't happen.
The portal window for men's and women's basketball will open for 30 days starting the day after the second round of their respective NCAA tournaments ends.
