How do ND teams travel?

Given the ACC schedule HOW do non-football teams travel to away games? I'm guessing that ND contracts with air charter firms out of South Bend---true? Do any teams fly commercial? Does ND own/lease any jets as a University?

Anyone know?

Typically it's either a chartered flight or bus. ND has deals with Anthony Travel and Cardinal. When I was in the band, we took a chartered flight with the basketball teams, coaches and cheerleaders

From what I understand … at this time ND flies its team, cheerleaders and band to games on Atlantic Aviation charter flights if driving time is more than a couple of hours.

They probably bus to games like Purdue, Northwestern, Michigan, etc … but fly elsewhere.

While reading a newspaper in Hawaii I learned that UH has to pay a subsidy to teams that travel there to play. Did ND get a subsidy when joining the ACC??

348, You didn't read my post properly. We traveled WITH the team, coaches and cheerleaders.
