O.K. At Stanford: At USC: At Florida State: At Clemson: At Miami. Seems like all the really big, huge games for ND have been away (in the past few years). I go back a long time following ND. It seems to me ND has never played a good game at Miami. I even recall a game in the 60s when a heavily favored ND went down there, before Miami was Miami, and the game ended in a 3-3 tie.

As for the defense yesterday: It seems like ND had schemed a bend, don't break approach, but WF had a perfect day executing their short passing game, mixed in with QB runs. Apart from the one pick off, they simply did not make a mistake. Can't explain though why the D line was so far out of position so often. However, nationally, it does seem offenses are ahead of defenses everywhere.

Game Day next week. Will the defense step up? Are Adams and Wimbush ok? ND really is an offensive powerhouse; way beyond 2012, and any other Kelly year. Isn't this what we expected from Weis??

Well, no one really wanted to talk about WF last week, as the fan base has been pointing to the Miami game for a while now. Kelly emphasizes the importance of every game each and every week, but only natural that the players were also getting pumped to play an undefeated Miami, and did what was necessary to beat WF in the interim.
Now we all have Miami in our sights and the national hype will build all week, and BOTH teams will come out pumped to play. Miami has real talent and speed in the skill positions, and they will test us all game. Should be a great week, a better weekend, and a convincing ND win.
