Hartman deep ball in practice

Books td to att ratio is almost the same as Hartman and Book was much more accurate and a better runner.

And he did it with a lot more pressure and in a real offense. We'll see how Hartman adjusts to a regular offense and not a slow mesh. And the pressure of playing at ND
Yes we will, I feel Hartman is much more accurate than book on throws over 5-10 yards.

Do you think Hartman compares more to Jack Coan? When he was on at ND, Coan ripped defenses up with intermediate passes without ever being a running threat? I love T Buck but also look forward having a legit passer under Center. That’ll be a welcome change.

His movement is much better than Coans. Coan was like a statue

Sam does put points on the board! Going to be a fun n gun offense!

Some people didn’t watch the South Carolina game and 2 pick 6s or marshal game and pick 6

Buchners last two starts have had 3 pick 6s against average to bad defenses
You are comparing a 5th year player going into a 6th year to a 2nd year going on to his 3rd year. Buchner's upside is higher than Hartman. Hartman isn't going to get much better than he's been.

Buchner had one legitimate receiver to throw to last season and he was a tight end. So please stop comparing apples to oranges.

who did I compare him to. Buchners results at QB speak for themselves.

Not buchner lol

Not meant to be a dig, but in reality it's simple. Hartman can make consistent accurate passes, buchner can not.
Sam Hartman is quite a bit older than Tyler Buchner as well.

Tyler Buchner is one snap away from the 2023 starting job, and IMO will win the starting QB job at Notre Dame for the 2024 season.

Lol. Hartman is going into his 6th year. He'll be at the pro day next year

What did you expect someone else to be out there. Lol

Maybe Minchey too right haha

You could see it in his face when he said it. He wasn’t bs’ing.

He wouldn’t do great things here if Mayer thought Buchner was on the same level.

He is odds favorite to win it now but I’d think he would need to show immense improvement with his opportunities this year

Do you ever give it a rest. My God dude. You are obsessed.

If healthy, IMO Tyler Buchner will start at QB the 2024 season at Notre Dame.

You are as dumb as a rock. You do realize ND is giving this to Hartman because it gives him a chance to showcase his skills to scouts in his final year in college. You are just a dummy.

It should not be an open competition unless Hartman is injured or has a mental breakdown. Hartman should be getting as many reps as possible joining a new program. Yea Buchner needs reps too but not some even competition

Buchner was awful last year and Hartman was one of the top 10ish qbs in the country.

What’s weak is not what Hartman did at wake, what’s weak is what Buchner has done at ND.

I do not see TB ever being the starting QB at Notre Dame unless the MULTIPLE GUYS ahead of him all get injured or flunk out or steal cars.

This is his third season; practice and everything else has not shown much improvement from when he got here.

I do not see him improving enough to be the starter baring other happenings.

Hartman pushes the ball way more than Coan did, and has much better pocket presence.

We disagree.

There's one guy ahead of him. Not multiple.

What do you expect him to say, "Yea he's going to be an average QB, lucky to be able to win the starting job"?
I could see it now if Hartman doesn't live up to your lofty expectations. You'll be blaming the OC, QB coach, Freeman 😂

When’s the last time a ND QB looked this good in practice? I’m pumped. Freshman wrs are killing it too. James is the real deal. Looking consistently good.

Hartman is making big time NFL throws. I don’t get the hate.
I don’t see hate but more so reservations…. That’s fine, I’m bullish

We didn’t have a qb last year who had a clue in the passing game. We have probably a top 5 passing qb in the college game now

No hate, just being realistic. He's not elite, if he was, he would have went pro, but instead he opted for a 6th year. That's the reality.
