Hard hitting 3 star Teddy Rezac committed

Every year there's a ND recruit that shows highlights on films and make me think... I don't care how many stars or how many or how few offers he has. I want him! This year it's Rezac. Man this kid is athletic. It's criminal that he's playing in Nebraska, as he's a man amongst boys. Love that he plays all over the field (rushing the QB, LB, safety, and WR).

Pair him w/ Kyngston Viliamu-Asa and ND is set for the next few years at LB.

Check out his film:

Oh for sure, this commit has Alabama shaking in their boots right now.

If the kid is more Tommy Z…..great get. If he turns out to be another Nicco Fertitta…well, that answers that. Let’s hope he’s more Tommy like.

No not buying this one. It is way to early to reach out for this one. Recruiting has taken a hit this year. There are plenty better players out there. This is a walk on player at ND

Better than a walk on but a player that doesn’t dominate high school.

Agreed, a lot of time left why reach this early? Can see this in December but why now?

Staff loved him
Pretty obvious that they did or they wouldn’t have offered. But given offer list, size, competition he plays against, hard to see him as an elite talent. If stated goal is to win championships you need elite guys. Go after the best until they say FU and then grab a Rezac.

It appears we are going to be a little short on scholarships this year so why not be a little more diligent

We won't be short on scholies. With transfers, medicals, draft etc we're always under. It's never an issue

We're at 81 right now. Never worry about the numbers. Just sign the best guys

Says the guy that is the ultimate Negative Nancy.

Chase - when was the last time you posted something positive? I can't remember.
Point me to something positive going on from a football operations standpoint right now.

ND had several 5-star commits in the 23 class and was in with many top 100 prospects, and struck out on most of them down the stretch and aLL of that recruiting momentum has been lost with NDs very public stance against NIL bonuses.

ND is recruiting worse than the BK era right now despite MF being hired to attract higher end talent.

The NIL and transfer portal era is full steam ahead and ND finds itself yet again woefully behind their competitors on yet another roster-building resource

ND lost several of its best personnel to other more trendy programs in the last several years and went cheap by hiring lesser status replacements

ND is not recruiting well (their recruiting has been on a massive decline this class)
ND is not utilizing the transfer portal fully to reenforce their roster (like their competitors are)
ND is not utilizing NIL to attract the best talent
ND is not utilizing their resources to hire the best coaches

What is there to be positive about ... ?

pretty much everything is worse as of 5-13-23 from a football operations standpoint than what is was during the BK era and even just as of 1 year ago.

if Freeman isn't going to move the needle on the recruiting at ND, what does he bring as a football coach that makes him uniquely qualified to run one of the wealthiest/most coveted positions in college football? his 2020 defense wasn't even as good as the two coaches that preceded him at DC

We are down to 82 with a couple more coming. Number of schollies available won’t be a problem this cycle

Point the board to a positive post of yours…go back and include your previous handles

Will hang up and wait

Recruiting is much better now than the BK era.

You are clueless. Go back to your analytics because that's all you know

Have you watched his tape?
We don't need to watch his tape; there is a whole industry of professionals who do that and then compare/contrast prospects on aggregate. You heard of the 247 composite prospect ranking system? Teddy Rezac is viewed as a composite 3-star and the 950th ranked player in the country.

He would probably be the worst rated commit at Alabama in the last 5 years at least-- but we made sure to lock him in 7 months before signing day lol

Taken from a website......A 30 on his ACT? Yeah, that’s the uncommon way we will start this edition of the Intel, which shares the latest Georgia football recruiting info. We chose that path after learning several interesting things about 3-star Marist School (Atlanta) safety Kyle Hamilton" href="https://www.dawgnation.com/recruiting/player/kyle-hamilton">Kyle Hamilton. We don’t chat with many players on a daily basis quite like this 2019 prospect. Kyle Hamilton is underrated. That’s not just because the recruiting industry has tagged him with a 247Sports composite ranking as the nation’s No. 82 overall safety for 2019.
So you really don't know!

So when he gets re ranked in July and he gets a big boost are you going to say he magically got better like Minchey did. Or did his rating just get caught up with his tape

Just admit you cant evaluate players and you are a sheep who uses others to form all of your opinions
