I definitely don't like the guy....but I think it would be a bit rash and unfair to judge him off of the first game against a team that may fair pretty well this year in the Pac12, not to mention the talent he has there to work with may not be par to what he's capable of recruiting. I was actually fairly impressed that he even had the Wolverines within striking distance.

Again...i don't like him, but he took a Stanford program that wasn't too great and brought them to life. I won't shed light on the NFL as there's been numerous great college coaches to stall out and completely fail in the NFL. He probably has a better resume than most that tried their hand at it. Anyhow.... He's got far less of an academic hump to deal with at Michigan than he had at Stanford....I feel in 3 years they can be contenders in the conference and may give OSU a run for their money. He's already put his imprint on the recruiting this year being ranked inside the top 10.

How does Harbaugh and the Michigan program have anything to do with our game against Texas? Coach Kelly beat Utah but lost to Tulsa and USF. Be careful of throwing stones. Urban has been a college HC going on 14 years. Coach Harbaugh has been a college HC going on 8 years. Both are very fine coaches. One has had his share of criminal player problems. The other not. I mean, I don't get this. Why is it so hard to enjoy BK and our game against Texas without ripping someone else?

Yeah, that first overthrow was brutal. QB had plenty of time and the receiver was 10 yards behind the defender. Just float it up there baby....

The run blocking was mostly bad. The backs missed a few holes... Congrats to the Utes though. Their QB play and defense won the game.

Harbaugh is a proven coach, so it is probable that he will turn things around at UM ... but boy did that UM O-Line look bad. Wiff after wiff. Simple power plays and they sometimes did not even try to block at the point of attack. Just ran around flailing. Looked a lot like last year's poor O-Line. And that QB has a weak arm. I think every DC will load the box against UM and jam the receivers until he proves he can throw an accurate ball more than 20 yards.

Yeah, I was actually pretty surprised that UM looked as good as they did. First, Utah is a solid team that will win a bunch of games this year. Second, living in Iowa and watching them play all year, Rudock is not very good and that's the best UM has at QB right now it's going to be a struggle. He'll get a QB and turn that ship around in a few years.
