credit ,they play hard and made some good stops on defense in the first half even though Clemson put up 21 points on 3 big yardage plays . I know BC was blown out by Virginia Tech 49-0 , but still like their effort tonight.

BC gave up 56 points? Are you trying to say BC plays harder than ND? Well, if you played hard and still gave up 56 points? Then you have no players.

I can teach people to play hard, but I can't teach talent. BC is a mess.

I just want to contribute a quick analysis from the BC / Clemson game. When BC had 4th and goal and went for it, the QB bobbled the snap for whatever reason and got stuffed, but, the Center was pushed backward into the play like he was facing an Abrams M1A2 battle tank. The ESPN booth announcers, quick witted and always aware of game situations, never mentioned it, even after the replays.

I meant the first half , completely wore down the second half ? How would the Irish hold up against Clemson or Michigan this year ? . Inspite of the fact that Irish faithful believe we have some talent , we are nowhere near Clemson , Ohio State , Alabama . And it doesn't seem like we are closing the gap with our recruiting in 2017 . We will be a top 20 .and as far as ESPN ranking us in the top 5 in recruiting so far , that will change as the uncommitted blue chippers and difference makers choose the power teams . Again our recruiting ranking will end up between 12-15 .


Watching the other big time schools freshmen players like DT Gary ( Michigan ), DE Bosa(Ohio St.), DT Lawrence(Clemson), DT Oliver(Houston) ,etc , they have become big time difference makers .wonder if we'll ever get a few big time defensive linemen.

No matter , I am a big Irish fan ,and I root one game at a time,
