Answer the question, who played ND better, IU or SC???

We all know the answer but I want you to admit it. I said SC would play ND better than IU.

You said and I quote
Indiana
Texas am
Louisville
GT
USC

My original argument was Indiana would be the 5th or 6th hardest team ND played. You said closer to 1.

Well???

I'd say IU was 5th best behind SC, A&M, GT (who didn't have their starting QB against ND), and Louisville.

I will say 4th and place USC 5. Indiana was a playoff product by way of a pathetically soft schedule.

And SMU had zero business being in this playoff, IMO.

Clemson, 0-3 against the SEC in 2024, only belonged because they won the ACC.

USC was the most dangerous team we faced other than NIU

Tennessee was outclassed by OSU and had no business being in the playoff. They were completely overrated padding their record with mostly bottom rung SEC teams.

you are not capable of admitting when you are wrong,

There is no way Indiana was a harder game than SC,

At no time in the Indiana game Was the game ever in doubt. Against SC the game was definitely in doubt.

You are the only one on this board that believes Indiana was the harder game.

There is no way to prove who is better Indiana or SC but there is no doubt who played Notre Dame better.

If USC came into ND stadium with us on 3 weeks of rest in that environment in that weather we would have curb stomped them by at least 28

There is evidence to determine who was better. It's called a football season

11 and 1 vs 6 and 6 in the same conference with 5 common opps where Indiana was much better against

You have no argument. You can't win. It's impossible

All true, but the question is which team, IU or USC, played ND better? I think the answer is USC.

Yeah, that wasn't the question though

NIU played ND better than both.

Game was at USC. 4th week in a row going from NY to Ind to Cali. No Cross

2 different games. Indiana is a better team than SC and by a decent margin

Cmon, that was the question….Answer the question, who played ND better, IU or SC???

Usc played them better. That wasn't the argument. 2 diff circumstances. Who cares about that.

The argument was who was better team, Indiana or SC

Cmon Telx1, answer that question.....Who is the better team, Indiana or SC....answer the question

OK, the question was which team played ND better, and the answer is clearly USC.

The broader debate building to this question was which team was better, IU or USC, which is the question you keep answering. While I think USC has more talent, I think IU proved to be the better team over the course of the season.

Exactly. And I knew ND would play Indiana better because of all those points I made

It was a dumb question and he tried to get a gotcha. I wasn't going to play that silly game but you wanted an answer to a dumb question for some reason

If SC came into our stadium in the exact scenario like Indiana we curbstomp them. They are the better team and its by a good margin

It was clearly an attempt at gotcha, but not a dumb question. And easily answered while also providing your context, but you chose not to. That was my point. We all know there are many variables to each game. Hell, the fact we played in New York and then Los Angeles, and the impact this had is rarely discussed, etc…. USC was clearly the more difficult game for us, but IU was the better team imo. Enough said.

You are avoiding the question by creating rabbit holes like location. You are talking could’ve and would’ve. I am talking facts.

It is a fact that ND played both IU and SC. It is a fact that one team came close to beating ND when they played.

Which game ended up being the harder game? ND vs IU or ND vs SC?

You know the SC game was a harder game. Even if you believe IU is better than ND, when ND played each team, which game was the hardest?

Only in one game was the outcome ever in doubt.

IU was NEVER close to beating ND. However, SC did come close to winning.

But of course you cannot admit you were wrong.

In my original post I said the SC Team was a tougher team than Indiana I have been proven correct not by opinion not by should’ve and would’ve but by facts
by the game it’s self.

My original post was IU would not be the toughest team ND played. I listed IU at 5 or 6 toughest. I said SC was a tougher game. That was my original point that you immediately disagreed with.

I was correct that SC was a harder game. You were wrong.

I was wrong that Evans would be a big difference maker in this game! I was wrong that Leonard would hurt them consistently with scrambles and designed runs! Who gives a shit as long as we won!
