GT is the biggest game of the year. Defense needs to dominate.

I suspect Coach Kelly knows what a fullback is good for but you never know. Stop the fullback up the middle, defend the pitchman, and kill the QB. You force the QB to beat you with their arm. Take home a "W" and defend your home. It was a slobber knocker when ND came to Death Valley in 1978. I expect another war in a few weeks.

It was 1977 and you are right it was a great game. I was in the stands and I remember you guys had blown out USC the week before so we didn't know what to expect. When we were up 17-7 in the start of the 4th I started to believe it was in the bag until Montana worked his magic. He hit that long pass to Ken MacAfee to save a drive. I remember a real good DE or DT on that team, Ross Browner?

Mind fart on my part; I listened to the game on the radio because of the silly television rule back then. I hope the game is under the lights and both teams are undefeated. I have no idea how the season will play out now that Malik is out for the season.

problem w/GT and the typical D for the GT offense is this QB can Run and Pass! Gonna be a very long day on defense for ND. ND must match them offensively. This is an important W for recruiting! ND has to win the winnable games. Recruits are watching: revival or reversal!
