For the 5766 th time is his illustrious message board career my boy purse made another FUBAR - he disputed a poster on Hayes playing DE @ND . He claims that the signing of Hayes was contingent on him playing OLB . Purse would prefer that ND not develop a pass rush so he can continue to trash coach kelly -- the pathetic mutt knows if kelly gets a prime time pass rush the irish are poised for the playoffs and purse 28 k would look like even more of a blithering idiot than he already is .

I read an article today stating that Hayes is attending meetings with coach gilmore and Gilmore was quoted in the article as saying--- read and weep mutt
“I think everything went well with the injury and the surgery, he’s recovering well,” Gilmore said. “He’s on time to be in pads when they said he would be. He’s a gym rat type guy so he’s been here doing extra work on the weekends and learning the defense.

“He’s a prototype player and he’s a guy that I think will do everything possible to get himself ready to play. It means a lot to him. He wants to get in here and contribute and be the player that everybody anticipates him being.”

Notre Dame’s pass rush has lagged a bit in the last two years, producing just 50 sacks in 26 games in the Brian VanGorder era — and departing seniors Romeo Okwara and Sheldon Day combined for 16 of those sacks. Gilmore is hopeful Hayes, as well as Julian Okwara and Khalid Kareem — also an early enrollee — can prove worthy of early playing time to help jump-start those pass rushing efforts this fall.

“I think (Hayes) could be an ideal rush player,” Gilmore said. “He’s a rare talent, a special breed of kid. He’s a freshman that probably could do it. He’s got enough athleticism, 250 pounds right now, a special athlete. I think he’s a kid that if there is a freshman that could come in and help us on the defensive line, he’s one of those guys that could really do that.”

Good call purse you mutt !!

Purse also claimed he was a more knowledgeable poster than IIO !! Dumbest statement ever on this board. IIO is a great poster that adds so much to this board and Purse is trying to run him off !!

It's a damn good thing we never had to deal with Hackenberg, Perse. I hope Ian Book has has a chance to play. If he ever somehow ends up as ND's starter for an entire season, I'll put $1000 down on him having a better season than Hack ever had? Feel free to remind me if you ever want to take that bet.

This is Perses reply---

I have cvgr on ignore -- could someone please call him a douche bag for me ?? Thank you

Timely advice Ara. I've limited the ignore feature to the FSU obsessed and some of the foul talking paying customers that raided this board last year. Thought Perse was surprisingly balanced and objective during the season, and then the last two loses and the advent of NSD was too much, and the negativity and number of silly posts increased exponentially. Think I'll cave to my better instincts and your advice to Bodi and hit the ignore.
