Offense sputtering and defense is just clueless where they should be. Really playing undisciplined football! Dominating the first quarter and then just play flat as hell. Clean it up guys
Nice challenge in the 2nd half. Defense has got to create some turnovers and MZ has to win this game with his arm. Points come out of the passing game.
MZ can't hit the side of barn today.
He just can't help himself - thinks he is back at division 2 Grand Valley........why 8-5 is the new normal.
I'm pretty certain we're going to win because what we're doing is much more sustainable than what they're doing, but damn is this frustrating.
Ok nom ore damage done. Have to hold Cavs to a 3 and out to start he second half. Then have the oline dominate and get a TD.
Defense is spent, 3 mins to go til half... Procise has 100 yards and Zaire is 3-8: Let's throw it 3 straight times!
This game is a reality check. So what? We beat a JV Texas team that will be luck to win 5 games. Lets see if they come out in the second half and take care of this game.
This is typical for Kelly coached teams. What else can you say. For ND to be considered elite they need to beat teams like UV by 3 TDs. ND has this NFL talent? Really? Well they better start playing like it. As I stated on a thread earlier this week, you can never look past an opponent. Watching this game illustrates why.
I think some of the reality check is that our QB is only starting his third game and is getting a lot of different looks from Tenuta's defense. Seems like less pre-snap confidence than we saw last week.
And its his first true away game start.
Ed Cunningham has already stated his hate for ND in the past. ESPiN back at it again. Can't they ever be professional?
