There's NOTHING hypocritical about my post. I'm not defending anyone.
First of all I have NEVER accused Shembo of being a rapist. Unlike you, "Innocent until proven guilty" is what I consistently stand by. I believe in America and the rules of justice. You don't.
Secondly, as I figured you would do, you completely missed the point of my post. My post was factual with links and pointed out your horrid hypocrisy regarding Shembo and Winston. Neither was found guilty of anything. The witnesses and the accuser for Shembo died. The witnesses and Kinsman (who has been proven to be unreliable and a liar) lives.
ND's investigative prowess in the case (or should I say lack of) makes the Winston case look like the most vetted case in history. Ask the Seebergs what they think. That's why the US Dept of Education came in to investigate. That's why ND changed their sexual assault policies twice in two years.
Thirdly I didn't misrepresent anything. I copied and pasted the article particulars you turned a blind eye to. I provided one of many links that refutes everything you say.
And fourthly I'm not attacking ND. I'm attacking your hypocrisy and pathological lying by refuting your made up stories with actual facts. Facts that continue to confuse the hell out of you.

cliff note version: Shembo killing a dog has more honor/isn't worse than winston being accused of rape....it gets worse. The full body of work is what you would expect from someone that sees counting to 3 as a challenge.
I had his and other handles on ignore, but got drawn back by the ongoing lies that did not portray ND or ND fans in an honest way. It's the double edged sword.
I don't understand why board ops allows it. I am guessing that posts = hits on their daily/weekly/monthly report. However, what they may be missing is that folks/posters are giving up on this site do to dubs'/epic's/big's other aliases hatred for ND.
It's obvious he is hell bent on taking this site down the tubes.
He gets tossed from other boards and finds safe haven here... Go figure.
Well at absolute minimum, Shembo beating a dog to death does certainly call into question his integrity and thus his version of the story in the Seeburg incident. Before he killed a dog, you could certainly give him the benefit of the doubt in a he said/she said case, but now, you have to wonder if a guy who is capable of beating a little defenseless animal to death is telling the truth about what happened with Seeburg.
Me personally, I had always given him the benefit of the doubt, even if I felt there was probably more to the story than he was telling. But now, I have to say, I can't look at him and immediately wonder if he didnt do something really monstrous to that girl, just like he did that dog. He's lost any credibility with me, so I just assume the worse with a guy like that.

Nole, it's hard to imagine a post that more clearly defines you as the one in which you expect ND fans to circle the wagons for Shembo despite these apparently horrific acts. There is a word for that and it's "projecting". If things are as they appear, and they almost certainly are, he is a very disturbed guy that needs to be accountable for this atrocious act.

I have the utmost respect for the vast majority of ND posters and the remarks and attitude regarding and vilifying this horrific act is exactly what I expected from most. The classy folks with integrity didn't disappoint.
I didn't project anything from those posters. If I projected then it was only from experience with one poster (with 22 + different usernames) who has always made excuses for any bad behavior stemming from ND or its players. Since he defended Shembo while at ND and went as far to say he would have no problem trusting Shembo and his fine character (saying either Lizzie was a liar or mentally imbalanced) with his own daughter I just assumed status quo with this incident.
I agree... he needs to be held accountable and it was an atrocious act.

Yep, and not very well. This is a problem that we/ND have/has. As an alum message boards offer a lot as far as social fan/information exchange. One thing they do is provide a window to expose our/others fan bases behavior.
I can see more clearly what drives bitter animosity/hatred towards us. This is something I never understood as a student. However, over time I've come to conclude it's the phonies/ND wannabes like perse, argus, others.... who ruin things...

I can remember going through that enlightenment. As a student in the pre-sports talk radio/pre-internet/pre-social media/pre-SEC Lovefest age, I was totally oblivious about how much some people around the country loathed us. Now it's pretty easy to see, when you consider that someone dealing with a dickhead like Argus might actually see him as a representative of ND.
I'm sure a lot of people think exactly that. Not only is he an insufferable nuisance, but he degrades ND and its reputation every time he posts on this board.
You are spot on. I've said this before, I was with an ND Five Star player's family and the # 1 recruit at his position at the Fiesta Bowl. There was an ND fan that was the most vile pos you've ever heard sitting near us. The jackass was vulgarly picking on OSU folks that could be grandparents. Anyway, he and his Rosie O'Donnell knock off wife/girlfriend got tossed and I spent a portion of the game apologizing on behalf of the school.
PS The Yankees have the same problem. There are so many di**head fans looking down there nose at others it makes people hate the team.
That ND family includes alums/sub alums/fans/othrs that represent the core Catholic values which ND is tied to.... My mom and grandmother adored/loved Notre Dame (three of my sisters have Mary as part of their name). However, due to the all male status they could never attend. Does that make them any less connected or supportive of the school?

PS In the past the Yankees had Billy Martin as manager. Plenty of people disliked his personality and how he represented himself. That did not make them any less fans of the Yankees. I say that because kelly has rubbed some folks the wrong way too....
