ESPN treated the Trump tweets like the Kennedy assasination.

Turned off ESPN! Except the 4 hours when ND is on. I don't miss it, not Gameday, not SportsCentsr, not Michael Smith and J. Hills Black Lives Matter show, I turned off the NFL this year.

I'm tired being lectured by athletes and celebrities about how I should vote or how I should ride a bus with 100 smelly people, when they pal-around on carbon heavy private jets.

I'm ready to move to the mountains and not have a television.

Maybe because Trump tweets like a valley girl on her period rather than like the president of our country...
I wish like hell he would shut up too, but the reactions in the media, including ESPN, to some of the stuff he says are sometimes beyond ridiculous. CNN has been trying their best the last two mornings to make this NFL kneeling flap a racial issue. In general nobody seems to be buying it, but it doesn't stop them from trying.

It's a big story, Bodi. The President of the United States calling its tax paying citizens 'sons of bithces' for exercising their first amendment rights. But the bigger story is (after Charlottesville, and his family's company's denial of housing to blacks, to the central park five, to trumpeting the bogus claim that our first black president was not American, his comments about Mexican during the campaign, the Gold Star family, etc. etc.) is further proof of our President's racism. 70% of NFL players are black and we still have real work to do in this country on race. Kudos to the players for drawing attention to a issue we need to be talking about. Shame on our President for making the situation worse.

And the right-wing media is trying to make it about patriotism as opposed to what it is: a rebuke of Trump. I wish I could say conservatives aren't buying it.

Blah, blah, blah
Identity politics by the liberals

Yeah...... they were devastating .
you missed the point. reckless and devastating are two different things. Calling for a boycott of any business from the presidential pulpit is bad business. the nfl creates paychecks for thousands of folks who are not playing the game. What would you have thought of barack obama if he had called for a boycott of hobby lobby for their stance on abortion ? I

How crude, how stupid and how wrong. Sure you will stay tuned to the NFL.

No, not really -- POTUS tweets more than he governs -- and you can tell when he is out his own -- his mouth is worse --

If the dude would simply govern the country -- I said it before, and still believe it -- him becoming president was not about making the country great again -- it was about promoting his brand....and now he gets 4 years of basically free advertisement!

So why make such a big deal of it? You know he does that to piss off the left and rally his base. It worked. He plays the liberal media like a fiddle.
Just a good way to deflect the "repeal/replace" again going down in flames after 7 years of whiny little bitches complaining.

Right now, he is doing nothing to help his "brand".

I think his golf courses and hotels are making a lot of money.
More than they were previously? That would seem to be incongruous with the "we are a global embarrassment" idea that many have suggested, including Greg Popovich just yesterday.

I don't know if this would affect his hotels' profit, but international tourism into the United States has plummeted since he took office.

He doesn't want people to visit anyways. America doesn't need tourists. What they need is a big wall. A really big wall. To keep everyone out.

The tourism industry is plummeting because of Canadian dairy farmers... Duh.

That's an awfully long border with Canada to build a wall...

You think the average right-wing nut case can afford to play at one of his courses or stay at one of his hotels?

No... But older, wealthy, conservative, predominantly white people can. And although I wouldn't say that those people are racist by any stretch of the imagination, they are traditionalists and those "country club folks" do tend to stick with people from their demographic... Those people, for the most part, love Trump.

I play a lot of golf, all over North America. I'm lucky enough to play at some high end courses. I meet A LOT of Trump supporters. Nothing wrong with that at all, but the people that have that kind of money and those social and political feelings will more than likely still fill those golf courses and hotels.

In fairness to President Trump... One of the fine folks he was running against during the Republican convention even proposed that. He was dead serious that the 49th parallel needed a wall to keep America safe... I'm 100% serious.

Come on. I didn't say that. The increase of business at his hotels and golf courses, by foreigners trying to do business with the US government has been widely reported. It has also been widely reported that many charitable organizations have canceled conventions at hotels he owns, particularly Mar a Lago. This stuff is all out there, guys.

Obama lied every time he opened his mouth and that's the stinking truth. It's time for America to grow a backbone after the Obama Lawless Years. You can't just break the law because you want too. Get ER' Done Mr President.

I wasn't sure if the wall he called for was to keep Canadians out or to keep Americans in.....

Hell, let's make it the 54th Parallel and be really safe. Isn't that up around Fresno?

Most ignorant opinion I've seen on this matter in a long time.

Best post you've ever done. I'm serious. You're 1 million % accurate about the entire thing. Obama did nothing for 8 years but ruin lives and his stupid March Madness poll. He crushed families lives and damn near broke most people financially.

Definitely one of the worst presidents ever.

Now someone who works in a cubicle on the 40th floor of a city doodling on post-it's most of the day has no idea what I'm talking about but people that really make the world go around, manufacturers, farmers, truckers, railroaders, miners, loggers, etc.

They know the incredible amount of damage Obama did

..and if it wasn't for them those little trendy cubicle jobs analyzing TPS reports while Milton looks for his swingline stapler wouldnt even happen. Hell they wouldn't have the supplies they use if not for the above jobs.

These idiot cubicle warriors are the god damn no child left behind, participation trophies, remove anything and everything good tasting from school lunches, time outs, play dates, lol...****ing play dates. WTFE

I'm part of his base, and he's been pissing me off for a while, I wouldn't have ever voted for him, but could never cast my vote for a Clinton. The man is a horrible leader, acts childish, and is a borderline nationalist socialist, who thinks government is the solution to every problem.

He doesn't act like a President, he acts like an 20 year old coked up wolf of wall street.....
