And it's not just the political threads. You can click on an ND football-related thread and even find political commentary on a topic having nothing to do with politics.
Simple Solution ! Mark a post as OT, and those who want to read it can, and those who do not want to read it can just ignore that post OT post !
Most of the time I can just glance at the name of the person starting the Tread, and I know that That person's
post is simply not worth opening, so I ignore it !
In other words, we all have the option of reading or not reading any post on this message board ! We are our own moderators !

Better yet, when a poster we know is a hijacker of threads how about the mods just delete it as soon as that person posts. It's going nowhere anyway so cut it off before the moron starts stirring up trouble. Besides, it would make him blow a gasket so it would be a ton of fun!
