Is it possible to explain why this is a good candidate .... I can't say I know anything about this guy but on the surface this looks like a potential ho-hum hire .....
And lets be realistic ..... Kelly's tenure has proven he has no idea of what to do with the defense .... 7 years and he still has no idea what to do with Navy .... Last I checked they have run the same offense for the last 100 years .... and STILL! .... this year we ran something different .... AGAIN .... with dismal results .... that diamond formation they had ? .... serioulsy ? ..... there is something wrong when the pitch guy has to be chased down by the safety on the opposite side of the field
Let me interview him:
Question 1: How do you defend Navy?
Answer: Put 9 guys in the box and dare them to throw the ball ... 6 right on the line ... don't give guards a running start.
Question 2: No more questions .... you're hired
