I don’t want to call out anyone in particular, but I strongly encourage people to avoid being consistently and unduly negative. God gave us life as a gift. Constantly being negative is wrong. It conveys lack of appreciation for what we have, and it is certainly far out of step with the mindset appropriate during Advent.
There is a place for criticism and being down. Trust me, after some losses this year, we wer all feeling down. But that’s not what I’m referring to here. Choosing to be negative virtually all the time is not the way.
