Notre Dame rightfully so deserved the credit it received this season by joining the ACC for the 2020 playing season. Do you like think this has been a positive experience for Fighting Irish football?

My observations of the positives of joining the ACC for 2020 season:

1.) With the addition of Notre Dame and resurgence of Miami the conference is much more than Clemson. Heck even throw in an improved Boston College and North Carolina program and the ACC is downright the Second best conference in NCAA Football this season.

2.) Notre Dame has received more positive press from the National Media than ever before which could be attributed to joining the ACC for the season. Notre Dame could even make the College Playoffs with a tight scoring loss to Clemson. Going undefeated during the season most likely the only way for ND to go to playoffs in future. Also, playing in an ACC championship game with help if we make the NCAA Playoffs.

3.) Travel schedule is easier and less wear on the players and coaching staff.

4.) Demographic and recruiting shifts to Southeast was the main reason for playing 6 games against the ACC in the past. I think being in the ACC this season during Covid-19 may have helped recruiting a few kids (Only time will tell).

5.) With the exception of Ohio State and Indiana the Big Ten looks Big, Slow and Tired when it comes to play in 2020. The Big Ten has one superstar QB in Fields and an upcoming star in Mertz and Penix. The ACC is loaded with talent at the QB position (Best QB's in college Football) which equals exciting on field play and a ton of media attention.

If I was to give a grade for playing the ACC this Season it would be an A+ and a positve experience for all.
