CORAL GABLES, Fla. - Miami Hurricanes defensive end Demetrius Jackson will miss the remainder of the season after undergoing surgery "for a right lower extremity injury," the team announced Monday.

Jackson was injured in Miami's 28-10 win against Virginia Tech last Saturday.
