.... doing the same thing over and over while expecting different results

Kelly told us already with his quote "Get used to it"

Anyone who say we just need to accept things the way they are should turn in their fan cards ..... last year never had a chance to get off the ground ... it was over before it started .... now we are expected to watch the same farce .... i.e. .... next year might as well be over ..... maybe in 2018 we will have football back ..... maybe? .... are 7 years not enought to know what we are going to get? ..... anyone else want to punch Swarbick in the face ? ..... this guy gets a big fat paycheck to be incompetent .... puke

There were a lot of folks clamoring to fire Brey after his 15-17 season. Swarbrick didn't and he turned in the best two year run in ND basketball history. Maybe history repeats?

Maybe you're right .... maybe if Kelly is still here in his 20th season he might have enough NFL talent to get their 1st major bowl win on their own .... then it wil all be worth it .... ?????

Apples v. Oranges. Brey considering all the challenges, limitations and fractional program support has done reasonably well. It is almost impossible to run a clean, college BB program today, with the brokers, scouts, middle men etc. Brey has, and he, his players and the program have never embarrassed the school. Also consider, the fighting Irish's identity didn't emanate from the B-Ball program. It's association is more with the football program's history going back to the 20's and 30's. Football is the school's brand sport. That is not and cannot be questioned. BUT, with Swarbrick's sophomoric executive administration of the athletic department (what would you expect from a lawyer who has never managed a company or middle market organization) and one of the most egregiously bad management decisions with the extension and the further incapability to fire Kelly, the result is turmoil, frustration the diminution of the brand and the dissipation of fan support. Simply, we now have a mess. Enjoy the next 10 months.

Word is you went out and got some new tshirts with "IIO and me are BFF's" printed on them!

Insanity was last year and not dismissing VanGorder and expecting better defense in 2016. Kelly is finally doing now what should have been done last year. The prize bull has gotten out of the pasture and fallen off a cliff. We all must wait now for the 2017 season to play out---like it or not.

Brey makes adjustments. He has no ego. We all knew Grant was coming back too. You can't compare the two situations. Kelly thinks he had no blame. Do you really think Brey has that kind of ego?

Lol. 20+ years of a garbage product but you say 2017 is the year. Smh.

Actually, the fire Brey crowd

Actually, the fire Brey crowd has been very vocal since Chris Thomas's junior year. That was when I discovered ignore poster was really everybodies friend. It just makes boards more readable and enjoyable and allows people their opinion.

I expect the fire Brey crowd to come out in force during the ACC season this year. I am still thinking that it will be a 9-9 season.

I could be Kent Dorfmann and still be Einstein compared to you .... I can see how you would get us confused .... LOL!

Kent...that's a real knee slapper! I bet the boys in the Walmart lunchroom were laffin their asses off over that one.

I'll bet your 3 assistants who sit in the same room with you messaging each other on a message board on the one computer they all share were laughing ..... LOL!

And that's not even made up ..... LOL!

BIG difference

HUGE difference...Brey actually had a few big wins. His teams were playing hard. He had a few of those odd defying wins. He has shown to be a good in game coach at times.

This thing here...this Kelly thing .... is a completely different animal.

It's a mess times 100. Kelly has zero big game wins...is absolutely the worst in game coach I've ever seen. Horrible. Zero sense of feel...❗❕

This comparison is not even close to being a comparison.

Being completely naive about Brian Kelly.

His hand was forced with the whole BVG thing. Remember...right after possibly the most embarrassing performance by a Notre Dame defense ever Brian Kelly told everyone that more thud was going to be key. And apparently the players lack of heart is what made everyone a terrible tackler and completely confused.

His decision on BVG ranks right up there with 37 drop backs in the midst of a hurricane.

P.s.

Gotta love the scolding our center got for a muffed shotgun snap trying to do it in the middle of a trout stream....oh my bad...it was in the middle of Wolf pack stadium.

He is the most arrogantly ignorant coach I've ever seen.

Have a great DEH, and maybe someday again we can be WHENNING.

Sincerely,
Brian Kelly's insane half made up accent.

The Walmart manager finally relented and let him wear one of those swell blue vests....it goes along so well with his purple Barney shorts and "I love IIO" hoodie!
