Jimmy Clausen last played in 2009 … that’s a ridiculous point. ND was a 1 loss team 3 times in 4 years and an elite QB gets them over the hump at least once … it did for Clemson (twice). The rest of the ND roster was way talented enough to compete. Im not talking about 2012. We have elite o line who will be even better with an elite QB threat.

QB has been the missing piece for the entire Kelly era … and the gap this year went from big to massive. NFL rosters littered with Irish players at most other positions.

Has to be development because we’ve brought in some highly sought after qb’s. Lots of Irish in the league but aside from a couple OL very few difference makers. No top 50 qb or RB and maybe claypool is top 50 receiver. ATROCIOUS offensive production.
