Navy should be ranked in the top 25 next week. Helps ND strength of schedule. Would love to see Navy beat an SEC team in a bowl game.
Wow, Navy surprised the heck out of me. Navy and USC both gave our schedule a little bump this week. Important cause ND played the worst 2 teams in each division, during the ACC scheduled games.
yep! apparently ND is not the only team to have trouble with Navy's offense.

Sure, they don't have the size or star power coming out of high school, but their coaches have installed a system (both offense and defense) that allows them to compete.

I think both Navy and USC move into the Top 25. USC was 2nd in others receiving votes in AP and Navy was 2nd in coaches (maybe other way around can't remember). The committee does put real weight on wins over top 25 opponents, above and beyond SOS. Need Navy, USC, Temple, FSU and believe it or not - have to root for Michigan to win Big 10. World is upside down when I am rooting FOR USC, FSU and Michigan.

the committee is not looking at the Texas team that lost to ND with Swoopes at QB; Texas is not the same team.

They said on the telecast that Navy has 17 players from Tennessee. I know they have a few from Georgia and Florida also.
Navy is no joke. I had a lot of posters giving me heat for saying the Irish win over Navy was a big win. 41 to 24. I think Irish fans were still hungover from the Clemson loss.

Bodi the navy d is solid not like a typical navy team. also the navy coach was very upset @ halftime during the Irish game.. He believed he could beat us because of the talent they had. Navy is darn good. I would not be surprised if Temple and Navy played for the AAC championship game. I like your thoughts on OU
If we win out and beat a one loss Stanford team we will be in ahead of Oklahoma. we currently have the 5th roughest schedule. That may change but not that much with 3 games left.
Navy is for real. My opinion it was our most complete win of the season vs. a very experienced, maybe the most talented Navy team ever. Nobody wants to play them (ask Urbie). It was fun watching the Memphis fans' faces as Navy plodded down the field again and again. We all know that feeling too damn well. Like having root canal.
