Congrats to Cal Petersen

The ex-Notre Dame goalie made 29 saves for career shutout no. 1 in the Kings' 2-0 win at St. Louis tonight.

Los Angeles is really giving Petersen a long look. He's made three straight starts since being called up from the minors -- a 2-1 win at Chicago Friday, a 5-3 loss at Nashville Saturday, and the win at St. Louis tonight.

Through three starts and one relief appearance, Petersen is 2-1-0 with a 2.26 GAA and a .935 save percentage.
