It happened to my grandparents. It was very tough for my dad and my aunts, but my grandparents did absolutely everything else together so it made sense to me.

There must be some kind of comfort in that JD I would think, but i don't know because my father passed 5 yrs ago and my mom is still alive and rambunctious, but I know she is not whole. For selfish reasons I am happy, but from time to time I wonder.

To have both die of heart attacks on the same day is rough. Heart attacks, not a car accident or something like that. Prayers to his family.
