Make your argument now. What's it gonna take? A loss to Army? Or can you excuse that one away too.

I don't really know who the Kelly supporters are. I think everyone on this board has come to terms with the fact that his tenure is coming to an end. Swarbrick isn't going to let him go mid season, however, so I really see no further point in us creating the same threads each week. Sadly, ND's defense has rallied and in back-to-back weeks, has put ND in position to win games, only for the offense to completely let ND down. This team is simply a dumpster fire. A lot of individual future NFL talent, but no killer instinct or confidence to get over the hump. Strange the difference a year can make, isn't it? In 2015 ND is a few plays away from a potential playoff spot. The very next year, they're a mess... I actually feel for Deshone Kizer. He looks exhausted and as if he's in pain. The kid looks worn out from trying to put the weight of the world on his shoulders each week.

I'm accepting of a change, won't cause a stir if it happens. I also supported CW till It got to this point. I'm not going to lose my mind if he's back, which I expect him to be. I would in no way be upset if the call for change is made, but as a grown man, I'm not going to call a guy a clown, porky, etc.

I'm powerless and supportive of the decisions made beyond my control. To do orherwise (etc posting photo shopped images/27K posts is called mental illness). I'll support and cheer for ND next week.

Kizer looks like the other ND QB's under Kelly. His offense is terrible and he places an incredible load on a 20 year old QB. Much like BVG defense was too much for most players, Kelly places too much on a college kid.

He needs to go but I do agree I don't see the need for name calling. I hated it when they did it with Charlie and I hate it now.

oh? now you have come to terms with it?

but what about the profanity, name calling and despicable insults thrown out at posters whose only fault was THEY KNEW SOMETHING ABOUT FOOTBALL!

I can think of one way to save kizer. Fire kelly. Let Sandford finish it out. He just needs to be gone now. I want to call him bad names, but I'll just say let's stop the bleeding tonight.

there are no Kelly supporters anymore. That ended several weeks ago. I have felt that Kelly had an opportunity to change things around starting with a very winnable game against Stanford, I wish coach kelly well but it is time to move on. Like IIO complaining about Kelly or asking him to be fired or resigned is futile

I give you credit
Purse and his 29,000 posts of the same inane crap. He is pathetic.

Bodi are you that same idiot who claimed we will make playoffs this year.. not only we will make playoffs but will go 12-0.. He had same prediction last year.. Bodi you are shameless piece of shi8..

Bullshit. I had numerous people jumping my ass. You don't keep the cancer around just because youre worried you can't find a home run replacement. That's just giving up. Its like someone marrying just cause the kid. It's gonna go sour at some point. Let sanford run the team. Start having some fun with purple face gone. He is draining the energy out of the team and fans.

As bad as it is for the Irish, and it's horrible, this may turn out to be a good thing. You know winning 8 or 9 games a year is just enough to keep the coach and keep the fan base. It becomes the norm and is accepted as " that's the way it is anymore". Well for me 8 and 9 win seasons shouldn't be the bar. As they say when the pain is bad enough only then can change occur. This team with all the playmakers is rudderless. They aren't losing because the players aren't good. They are losing because the coaching is atrocious. It's been that way from the end of last year until now. Swarbrick has to realize that. At some point a decision has to be made. I don't care if Kelly stays on the rest of the year. Firing him now is pointless. But if Swarbrick is going to pull the trigger, he better get looking now so the transition can be smooth

I agree 100%. There is no sure thing and to keep a coach just because you are afraid the next guy wont work out. Do a proper coaching search and make the best decision you can. You know that Kelly isn't going to take this team to the next level, maybe the next guy won't either, but you have to try to succeed.

yes there is .. You" you are giant pu$$y
Good one.

Go back to your Dr. Seuss and "Idiots guide to comebacks", chapter 3 might help you.

PS. That retort sucked. I'd be worse off arguing with an illiterate.

How long has he been a cancer? I wasn't ready to bounce him after a 10-3 record last year.
