Combined records of the last 4 teams ND has played.

26 and 2 (outside of playing the Irish).

The Irish are making the playoff when they win out.

How convenient.. (Committee will just look at these four games)?

How about 4 teams ND played before then combind record 10-23

By the way your facts are wrong USC alone has 3 losses.. not sure where you get your 26-2 record... Navy has one loss and Temple has one loss so there are 5 losses right there. Unless you are saying ND beating a team should not qualify as a loss or be part of their W:L record

ND has put the only loss on both Navy and Temple, beat their despised rival USC (one of the five most talented teams in the country just looking at pure talent alone), shut-out traditional but down power Texas that beat one loss Oklahoma, came within two points of beating Clemson at Clemson (who now has the number 1 power-ranking in college football), beat option-running Georgia Tech that beat one-loss FSU, and stomped on UMASS as was expected. They did struggle with a Virginia team with whom they should not have struggled; however, in their defense, they lost their starting qb to a season ending injury and still found a way to win.

I would say the committee can find plenty of reasons to rank ND in the top ten with that resume.

Are you really that stupid? I said outside of playing Notre Dame you Moron. USC has lost 2 games outside of playing ND. Clemson has lost 0. Navy and Temple have lost 0 outside of ND.
Duh!! I am tired of wasting my time on mental midgets like yourself. This will be the last time.

Rivals50....come on man!
That's some strange math so you are counting

Clemson's win against ND (to make overall record of the teams look better)
But you are not counting their losses against ND
shouldn't you exclude both wins/losses against ND then?

Question still remains how about 4 teams before? 10-23... you can't cherry pick 1/4th of the season to make an argument.

Thank you Einstein. You sound far more stupid and illogical. You use half the season and neglect the other half.. you use Wins but not losses by other teams against ND.

Nice, you make yourself look foolish then you just try to spin it another way. Also, unless I forgot my math 4 of 8 teams makes 1/2 does it not? LOL!!!

Ok? So let's make it 25-5 and still call it an impressive run for the Irish. And should we take a look at the record of Ohio State's first 4 opponents? Baylor's first 4 opponents?

I'll worry about ND's ranking right after the clock reads 0:00 in the Stanford game
Yep, that's all that really matters. But the Irish need to keep winning for that to matter.
I'm hoping the Irish will be #1 in January.
