Coach Kelly gets it ....

Jerome Bettis and Tim Brown ..... way cool

Mindless Kelly homers who propose complete censorship of him ..... not so much

• Former Irish stars Jerome Bettis and Tim Brown will speak to the team Friday.

Purse - Pazuzu -- Cvgr less so

Wow!!! That's incredible!

It's hard to believe no other coach has done this before at ND.... (hahaha)

Will it disrupt the team's ping pong practice?

What is "it"?

For what it's worth, I don't think that there's much to "get" if we're having famous former players come back.

There's more to the essence of Notre Dame than this. Not saying that Kelly doesn't "get it", but I'm not sure what this demonstrates.

Charlie Weis invited former players back, too: http://www.washingtonpost.com/archi...ideline/11a29ce9-44c4-4d10-9c61-008743d11601/

You must be Kelly's illegitimate son. Maybe he put you and your Mom in one of those fancy pads and sends you child support from a secret account.
Wow. You get wittier and wittier. Read more and post less!!

When you are looking for poster children of people who simply don't get it, Peres, Turnover Machine, Puzuzu, cgvr and Mo1e make a very good start.

The funny thing is that each one of them parade around like they know something when they are nothing more than blowhards, liars and assholes!

Thank God they are not fans of the Irish!

So what went in to your decision making when you chose to post under this alias? Was it a tough decision? With so many to choose from I am just curious about your strategic approach.

If you can keep him posting he'll eventually forget who he is..... Is.kelly
going to dial up a masterpiece today? Bvg better figure out how to pressure Kessler. Plus, we better give a little extra on each hit.....

Agree 100% on that one. Our boys cannot let Kessler just sit there with lots of time because he will pick them apart.

First of all .... you have to know what classy is ... which you don't

Secondly .... I know to defer when I win the toss .... and I know that it is stupid to go for 2 down 11 with a whole quarter left to play .... and that's the easy stuff

if you defer on the road with a potential hurricane coming by halftime then you coach to lose and have no clue. Kelly made a mistake there. Hind sight coaching is easy. Taking the ball was the right call when a monsoon was expected to come in by halftime. Kelly said in his first year that He was going to be aggressive and to get used to it. The 2 point play was aggressive but understood considering yoon is a freshman on the road in the rain and had missed an extra point this season. Make that play which Robinson should have caught and ND wins the game. Calling it a bad call after the fact is silly.

Weather you take the ball or not to start the game is a barometer you use to judge a football coach and his program , is that as far as your football IQ takes you -- Bueller - Bueller ??

Of course it's not "THE" barometer for measuring the coach .... it is just one thing .... don't be such a simpleton .... that should be obvious .... guess not

I am not sure the point you are trying to make. ND won the opening toss and deferred. Clemson then scored. I believe we then fumbled the second half kickoff......
