I've asked this in the past with the former mods but never really got an answer. Do you know if the ND staff has a pre determined number per position to fill out the 85 man roster? Such as 4 QBs, 5 HBs, 4 TEs etc etc.

And if you don't know, how would you handle it as a coach running similar offenses and defenses ND runs.

I ask because it gives a better idea on how many guys ND is looking to take on a certain year if we know they like 4 SS and we only have 2 on the roster.
