oklahoma is a good reference, but this team is very similar to msu/um teams we have beat. They are undefeated due to somewhat easy schedule. They don't have the QB or WRs that have crushed us in the past. At least the ones playing aren't them.

This to me feels like 2018 vs UM. Both teams with strong defenses and offenses with some talent but trying to find their way.

It's really do we eliminate bonehead mistakes.

Cuse was horrible against the run. That will not be the case with Clemson...they will be a half step if not a full step quicker off the line than Cuse was....as well as better skilled at penetration. ND won't run it down their throats. It will be the ability to mix the pass and the run on first and second downs that gives this team a chance to make Clemson work. Third down on offense absolutely needs to be limited. Third and long will be sacks and pick offs galore; and they must not be given the light of day. ND allowed a back up quarterback to light up the secondary late in the game...No doubt Clemson took notes for UG. ND cannot afford to get down 2 scores early either. To win...they have to dictate the tempo of the game against Clemson; and take them out of their normal, ever-present comfort zone.

that's just talent and specifically on defense. This clemson team has some major weaknesses on offense and can be passed on. Their D line rightfully so is very good but the rest of the D not as much.

I'd say this would be like oklahoma win, 18 UM, MSU 2013, just off the top of my head. Big win, but i wouldn't consider it one of the best teams we've played.

With that said, their strengths and weaknesses on D do not set up well for our offense. Pyne has to grow a pair and rees has to prepare i repeat prepare the offense for a good game plan or the offense will struggle.

ND needs to utilize 21 personnel. Similar to the SC days with bush and White. Use Tyree in the slot use him as an I back. Run some Wing T actions on the run game. Use tyree on the jet sweep etc.

I agree and have been saying that. Move Tyree to the SLOT!! You would have 3 people on that field with legit 4.3 speed going out for passes. Thats a tough cover and impossible for the LBs

Lo and Meriweather do not have 40's listed that I can find, but an accepted measure (not clean but accepted) is to take their 100M and divide by 2.5. That would put them both in the 4.38 to 4.39.

Thats a ton of speed out there. Lo has a really good burst too, just got to get him the ball.

Lo has a 10.83 100M. Thats cooking. Tobias was a 10.95. At 6-4, that's some wheels as well.

Those aren't great 100m times actually that you put up there. And the way you calculated is way off

Styles has lost a little speed with his muscle gain, Tobias can run no doubt but isn’t 4.3…. Lenzy is not 4.3 on the field that’s for sure
