CFP Top 25

We should be 4 on Tuesday.

Obviously jump Indiana and it's time they move us above PSU
Please list the quality wins for this team to deserve a #4 ranking.

I realize every narrative with you is pro Notre Dame, that said, please list the quality wins.

I spent some time watching various games today. ND is good for top 10 for sure. Not top 5 yet.

Ohio State, Oregon, Georgia, and Texas are favored over the Irish. But at this point, I think ND is in a tight pack with teams like Penn State, Alabama, Tennessee, and TAMU...noting 2 of these lost today.

Interesting how this is all playing out. From the ashes of NIU to a pretty good outfit right now. I just hope the O can do it against the better teams when it counts.

1 more to go. I am watching USC vs UCLA. ND is better than the Trojans...but the Trojans are better than Army.

Trojans have some explosiveness in O. But stall in the red zone. D not that good. I have to believe ND beats them, although it will be competitive.

Alabama ?? We beat Am when we weren't nearly as good as now

Alabama, come on bro 🤣

Clear bias

I havent seen any team this year that scares me. CFB finally has Parity.

You lost me when you said Texas they played nobody and will get beat at Texas A&M next week. Notre Dame can play with anybody Ohio State is probably the best team then Oregon Georgia Notre Dame are right probably the next tier but it's so close no dominant teams.

What has Notre Dame done?
More than Texas. Thats what. They have 0 top 25 wins. We have 2

We are beating people right now worse than they are

So that's what

Your bias is showing up again. And you're anti ND rhetoric is really coming on strong the more wins we rack up

Everything you write is everyone else sucks but Notre Dame doesn’t. Bad loss by Notre Dame? Ignored. When someone else loses? It’s national news.

It gets old.

What has Notre Dame done?
🚨PSA Dennis the Menace is a USC troll and is very upset ND is having a great season. Mods really need to send him to the cornfield permantly. He does nothing but troll & sh!tpost everyday. The board would be better off without him🚨

When did I say Texas sucked?

That's called deflecting when you make something up I said to avoid the issue

I'm going to call you out on it too. Weak attempt.

Don't deflect. Tell me what Texas has done comparative to ND

They're still a good team. Capable of beating good teams. Losing a coach like Saban is a big deal...as is playing in an SEC where there is attrition.

Like I said, I have a clear top 4...the rest fight it out.

Army sucks

Vandy who lost to Ga state very good sec team. Meat grinder

Miss state whov got blown out by Toledo. Sec tough opp. Meat grinder

Clear and obvious bias
You watched Army. A top 25 ranking is a joke.

They would get steamrolled in the SEC week after week.

But you will refer to Army as a quality win. Just like you did with Navy.

It’s disingenuous.

Someone tell me what Texas has done though?

I don
I havent seen any team this year that scares me. CFB finally has Parity.

I agree there is no clearly dominant team. But in my view the top 4 seem to be elite vs others aspiring.

Obviously I',m rooting for the Irish...but I gotta be honest: given the schedule and loss to NIU, we can't tell if ND is elite.

The playoffs will determine that. And, if enough stronger SEC teams fail to make it, my hopes rise even more.

Playing Purdue, Army, Miami Ohio and Navy helps.

Well, obviously you can only play the schedule you have. ND didn't set out to make it weaker. And ND has recovered from the loss to NIU, steadily improving.

ND absolutely warrants a high ranking and a playoff at this time. 1 more game to go to ice things.

As always, all of us ultimately use our eye test. Mine sees a very different ND right now. As I posted earlier...we will find out how good ND really can be.

The loss to NIU and weak schedule make this an open question. Hence the playoffs...starting with USC, which is a de facto playoff game.

Well stated.

To some posters, anything and everything about Notre Dame is elite.

And I agree, we won’t know anything until this team plays a legitimate top 5 team:

The SEC is still very good. And sure, they are inflicting losses on each other, compounding out of conference losses.

You also are doing what may critics of ND do...short quips like: they played NIU las week.

;)

Given the fact that both teams have played soft schedules, losing to Northern Illinois is why I would vote Notre Dame slightly behind 10-1 Penn State.

Texas A&M is no longer a win to point to.

I don't know what that means.

But Bama played Mercer last week. They should have been fresh and prepared for this game.

And they got blown out

I rate Penn State higher than ND on a better schedule and losing to Ohio State rather than NIU.

But I now think it's 50:50 between the Irish and Nittany Lions in a playoff game.

Only the top 4 I mentioned give me some pause...but I am hoping ND shows upside obfuscated by this schedule.

BTW: USC is leading UCLA. Neither team is impressive overall. But as I said earlier, USC can be explosive and has some talent...and can be dangerous.

I still feel ND should be able to manage a win next week. 75%. Have to avoid a letdown, no silly mistakes. I hope Denbrock calls the right game vs a weak USC D.

I'm confident Irish defense can handle the volatile USC O...that struggles in the red zone.

Agree. There’s something about playing a soft schedule, losing at home to crappy Northern Illinois, and then saying a top 4 ranking is deserved that does not add up correctly.
