Carlo Kemp star Defensive end deciding this week !!

I read on irishenvy that Kemp really likes ND and if we pushed for him he would likely choose us. But seeing that we just offered the TCU verbal i dont think we really are going after him. Plus i think he fits better what UM does defensively. and to be honest, i didnt think i would say this a few weeks ago, but i'm fine if he goes there. If we take another DE i want them to be elite, and Kemp is good, but not elite.
Always take a DL who is willing to be Irish. We never hit our 85 limit and with the DL attrition / injuries, grades, etc. we can always use them!
I agree with Ara. The need for playmaker on the outside is significant enough he would take Ok, Kareem, Hayes and Kemp. Staff views Olwe as a must take talent but he will be the last to commit.
Accoring all that I read about Beal he is elite and we ar ein on a couple other elite pass rushers in next yrs class

Thats a lot of kids at two spots - just a guess but would not be shocked to see Kareem end up @ DT . Tremendous athlete playing along side Tillery and or Cage -- pretty good
Nd has lost a lot of DE/olb recruits in the last couple years. Will also lose another 3-4 by the time the 2017 class comes in.
well we just got a 5 star DE in Beal that Michigan had no shot with so i'm happy either way. would still love to get kemp but Beal takes the sting away if Kemp chooses Michigan st's little brother from ann arbor

Beal is Irish for nkw but 2017 signing day is still 16 months away.. take the sure thing in this class if Kemp wanted to commit.
I've read that our irish aren't pushing for him as hard right now. with our irish getting a 5 star DE like Robert beal unlike Michigan's getting changes our coaches thoughts on needing a guy like carlo compared to michigan
Michigan needed him more than our irish with harbaugh being in rebuilding mode. they were probably offering him quicker playing time also
I'm not too concerned about it. We are after other targets and we do currently hold commits from K. Kareem, A. Ogunedji, and J. Okwara for the DE position and as others said Beal for next year's class. With that said if they can snag Beitku, who I believe does visit this week, then this will be one great group of DE recruits!
this is why following recruiting is futile. no one has signed anywhere yet, and that includes the potential players who have committed to ND. Keep you powder dry.
Hayes may end up playing DE if he grows out of LB, OB is also out there but I don't think ND is really in on him. Those are the two biggest names on the board left.
our irish have a big time 5 star DE coming in from california for the wake game and the word coming out of the gug is that the irish staff think they have a really good shot with him. the carlo kid is good but our irish are after bigger fish right now
Man I hope you are right but I honestly think he will go pro and I don't blame him. He should be a top 15 pick and will be starting on any team, he has great talent. It will definitely determine how our defense looks next season considering we lose some great players like Day and Russell.
