ND will know the results of all key matchups except okie. iowa is Friday......msu Saturday afternoon. ok state hopefully has a big lead to further motivate ND in the 4th quarter.

BEAT da trees!!!

There are a lot of games this week that will matter to ND's hopeful playoff selection.

Navy(Fri @ Noon), Temple(Sat @7), Pitt(Fri @noon), and USC(Sat @330) are all huge games for ND's SOS and if all those teams win it could potentially slot 3 of those teams ranked in the top 25 in next weeks rankings. I think Pitt slides in at 9-3 with losses only to ND, Iowa, and UNC, tough to leave a 9-3 team out with those as their only losses. So if those teams win that should leave Navy, Temple, Pitt and Stanford all ranked in next weeks rankings even though ND would have beaten Stanford they will stay ranked. ND would then be 4-1 vs top 25 teams with their only lose to #1 Clemson. Who else is going to have that resume?

Further more like an article on this website stated if USC wins that will put them vs Stanford in the PAC12 Title game. Could have Stanford vs USC, Navy vs Temple, and Clemson all playing for conference titles on Championship Saturday. Five teams that ND went 4-1 against playing for a championship on a weekend they are not playing is not a bad thing.

Boston I think the committee will need more than just an SOS number. They will need ND to win and play well......and probably at least two teams above them to lose. IMO.

Agreed, if Notre Dame has 4 top 25 wins, I don't see how the committee keeps them out. Nobody else will have that resume.

ND just needs to focus on winning and playing to their full potential.

Let the chips fall where they may.
