Surprised no one noticed. Let me set the scene....ND up 60-56....under a minute to go. ND inbounds after a GT three cuts it to the above mentioned score, the go man-full over the ball. Farrell gets inbounds pass and is trapped immediately in the dead corner, he calls a time-out....here's where it gets fun....ND goes over to its bench, which is 5 chairs out on the floor. Brey sits down on the 6th chair in the middle of the huddle WITH A CLIPBOARD and draws up a PLAY to get the ball inbounds!!!
And let me tell you it was drawn up and executed by the team to perfection. He had Beachem break free long but Vasturia missed him and he got Farrel free with GT defenders chasing him....GT fouls him and he buries 2 ft's....So a CLIPBOARD and a PLAY....so much for Brey never using/doing either one of those.....boy....it's gonna be a GREAT MONDAY!

I get what you're saying because big men are a preimium they may not be as talented as guards and forwards. But you still need serious size and length to contend. Yes nd did content the past years due to legit NBA talent along with size and length with Auguste
I can only offer an opinion....but it seems to me that any big person who is long and athletic, 6-10ish is thinking about using that size to earn some $$$$...meaning....they want to play in the league. Well, they really aren't thinking about going to class and earning a degree...that eliminates an ND right away...ND is left with projects like a Torres or a Geben. I don't follow their recruuting at all, I got my own to worry about, but do they have any bigs coming in?
Nope. They have one commit who I love SF Harvey borderline 5 star. It is completely possible to go 1 and done at ND and wouldn't be the worst thing in the world for them to start recruiting bigs who may do that
