Or whatever is the preferred delicacy in the Texas panhandle, that he wouldn't be able to get in The Bend, and that's why he declined? What if he just didn't want to take the job? I think they did up his salary, TT boosters are ready to spend some money, and get back into the game! Not me. Look South Bend is not perfect but Lubbock is in the middle of nowhere. South Bend I can be in Chicago in 90 minutes, Detroit in 3 hours etc. Lubbock is over 5 1/2 hours from Dallas.....yes weather from November to April better but that's it.
