Blah

Just learned not to drink many beers and post during the game. I am thrilled with the win and sometimes get caught up with each and every play. As one poster wrote (maybe Echowalker?) I should post after the game instead of in the heat of the moment. I am sorry I got a bit negative on Saturday when the game was close.

We have all done it. Most have not apologized. All is good.....lord knows I gave you a hard time....so sorry back at ya!

BEAT CLEMSON!

Good to see you admit your errors. Glad to not have to link you with that idiot Turnover Machine

Listen here. I don't know about the beers but whatever you were posting during the game was most likely thought and / or said in the stadium and in bars across the country. Don't think for one second all Irish fans watched the last part of GT and the first half of UMass and were all giddy at what was happening on defense. Fans are human and fans make comments and have opinions before, during, and after the game. Heck, the stadium ushers in my section were making comments about the Secondary. Don't let anyone intimidate you out of making intelligent constructive sober comments during the game, even if it may be critical. That Secondary of ours is one huge question mark and giving up big plays is the theme so far for the 2015 season. Yes, you can be happy at the 4-0 start and still be critical. Ask yourself this, while BK and the staff are happy at the 4-0 start, do you think for one minute they don't see and have not discussed problems that need to be fixed? Voice your opinion, just do it sober.

Notre Dame is in a very good position, especially when one looks at how they done relative to the injuries at this point of the season. Kelly is re-establishing himself as one of the nations best coaches as the recruiting he has done is manifesting itself with some excellent depth.

The upcoming game at Clemson will be interesting. The Irish are better and unless they s--- the bed as they did vs. UVA they should win setting up classic games against Stanford and USC, the two best temps they will face in the regular season. This is why we play the games, Go Irish!

Paz - As Capt. Stabbin said, we've all done it at some point. Whether it was ultra-negativity or crossing a line with another poster.

It takes a man to admit when he's been wrong, so kudos for your post.

My concern is that you not only posted negative things, but started multiple posts of that nature, and then pushed your agenda in each of them.
This is a pattern that leads me to think that there is another method to your madness. It was not a drunken rank in a single post, but a pattern to draw attention and argument. Prove me wrong.

ah Gipper is going with the deranged poster motive
You must redeem yourself

Why post during games? When I watch it on TV I am all in watching, can't worry about posting on a message board.

There is no need for anyone to redeem themselves. I speak the truth. Look at the 10 or so posts on Saturday. And, this was not the first weekend this occurred.

As an ND fan, I could care less if someone has a contrarian opinion or thought. Debate is wonderful.
I have never seen a post of a positive nature in this poster's short presence.
Have a contrarian opinion. Just back it up with facts or ways to improve.

My god its a first. someone apologized for emotional commentary on a message board! congrats Pazuzu for restoring my faith in the potential for humanity.

Seriously cool post. Thank you for that. my take on the game day stuff is always to take it with a grain of salt. what annoys the heck out of me is the Tuesday/Wednesday stuff that's obviously said just to troll.

Everyone knows that what's said during Gameday threads doesn't count and is not admissible when judging someone's character. It's in the Bible.

just a few points. I think fans get into a game and are happy when we play well and critical when we play poorly.
A message board is a place where people can express opinions. I was not happy with our play the first half, so I expressed my concerns.
Fortunately, ND has some really explosive players on both sides of the ball and , did what they were supposed to do,take apart a team that just could not match up talent wise.
Why must any one appoligize ?
After the fact, ND played a great second half, so it is easy to say that those who were critical during the game were wrong.

No one asked the OP to apologize.

I uttered a few expletives, spoken and unspoken, during most of the Virginia game, the last 2 minutes of GT, and the first half of UMass. If I had the notion to apologize, I would have to stand in line.

Bodi my friend. The kid is not the next Dan Marino and that was the problem. I'm saying that this Secondary has given up huge yardage plays, a couple for TDs. It almost killed them vs Virginia and mark my words, it will bite them in the butt against USC if not sooner if it continues. The next three games are crucial for the ND defense. They have to be the ones who protect our young QB at Clemson IMHO. Then they face the very best option QB in the nation, bar none. Then it's Kessler time. Heck, UMass was picked no better than fourth in their division and they threw for over 300. Maybe I'm completely wrong and this is just my imagination. Let the season play out before any final judgements can be made is probably the right thing to do. Still, the media has noticed and discussed it so I know I'm not the only one. You are 100% correct though. The lads are 4-0 and that's what counts.

from a fan perspective Kessler-Smith would be cause for sleepless nights!
And USC has much more offense than just JJS

Couldn't agree more with this! Two time frames to never post: 1) During the game (winning or losing) 2) 24 hours within a loss. This gives you time to collect your thoughts and allow the alcohol to exit your system.

Wow, this proved a lot. Bringing back a post from a few weeks ago. I was not drinking on Saturday and did not post during the game. The effort by ND was embarrassing and I posted my feelings. I have every right to do that just as you have every right to wave your pom poms and post over the top ridiculous optimism while in complete denial. The Chicago Sun Times has an article out stating ND lost any chance at making the playoffs with their performance against Navy.

What the hell is wrong with you? Saturday's effort was not embarrassing at all. The embarrassment is you.
ND beat an undefeated team by 17. We totally dominated the second half. You are making an ass out of yourself with your gloom and doom posts. Citing the Chicago Sun Times as authority for any proposition? Not a good idea.

It was NAVY let's chill with how saying how awesome the team played. That being said Pazuzuzuzuuzz seems to live to complain. I get wanting ND to be a top 5 team but the sky isn't blue in that dudes world

Navy has historically given teams like Ohio State and ND fits. It's the reason nobody schedules them on a consistent basis.

Ohio State had the best team in the country and best DL in the country last year and Navy ran for 300 plus and 6.7 yards per carry. OSU scored a couple of late TD'S to win by 17. Saturday was a big win for ND. Especially on the injury front.

I hope the best for Sark. To go through what he is in such a public way makes it worse for the guy.
Pazuzu is beyond help.

Sarkisian did us a solid by calling off the dogs last year. He's going through a lot of personal turmoil with his divorce and I don't know how much of this may be part of the cause..... I wish him well and hope he makes it back to the southern cal sideline.

pazuzu was once a well known pilot.

LOL. Thurston Howell III. Good one. CGVR, you agree with me most of the time. A little surprised about the attack. Kelly was the co-pilot (Buddy Hackett).

Just a few years ago one of the best South Carolina teams ever had to stop Navy on their last possession to avoid a huge upset. The only people who think Navy is easy, or should be easy, are people whose teams don't ever play Navy.
