Instead of the diagonal lines in the end zones at ND Stadium, why not insert Notre Dame on one end and Fighting Irish on the other like they have at Fenway Park for the Shamrock Series game? Hopefully it will be done as part of the completed Crossroads project. Thoughts?

There are 9 diagonal lines in each end zone adding up to 18. The lines are at a 42 degree angle pointing to the dome. Hence 18 lines and 42 degrees making up the year 1842, the year Notre Dame was founded.

There is a lot of symbolism at Notre Dame … and this is one of them. It should not change.
