Are there odds to bet AGAINST that? I would take those all day long. Les Miles just got fired for having absolutely no offense, even though he had superior talent. He is also 63 years old. Would love to hear that rational that this is even remotely possible. The media just throws guys out there and tells us what to think
Thats crazy... after Tuesday, I will not doubt Vegas again on anything! Before the election started Trump was a huge underdog floating around +420...... by 7 central he was a -700 favorite.... even before he won any states he wasn't supposed to...... Before Florida was announced he was a landslide favorite around -1500.

Hope not. He had great talent and underachieved. Been there, done that. On top of that, he had to have been the luckiest coach in the world cuz he made numerous dumbass moves over the years and most of them worked out for him when the decision to do whatever he did was stupid. Plus he hates ND and is a Michigan man through & through. I don't want any part of him coaching ND.
yup, it's highly highly unlikely that Swarbrick is making a change at year-end even with a 4-8 or 5-7 record. You can bet on it that Kelly will "lead the team out of the tunnel in 2017."
Have to agree - as shitty as this year has been, and even if ND finishes 3-9, it will be Kelly in 2017.
I want to know who our DC will be in 2017? We need a home run hire and not a bench cheerleader. He will probably stick with Hudson or maybe Elston as DC. He's already said there wouldn't be any major changes to the coaching staff. Did you hear that Uncle Jack?

Just pay a real defensive coordinator with a name reconition and pedigree of working at top college programs and start at 1 million dollars because that is what all the top 10-15 assistants make today. Not counting private institutions.
I think just the opposite. ND's defense has sucked so much the past three seasons that anyone who comes in and turns this around will look like a defensive genius. Seems like a great opportunity for some up and coming DC to perform on a big stage with a high likelihood of success. Coordinators jump from school to school as they build their resume, and even a successful one and done deal would still provide a huge career boost, with the outside chance he saves Kelly's ass and gets to be a hero for a couple of years.
No one coaching with Kelly will be a success next season. Fire Kelly and bring in Schiano as HC and ND will have a winning defense.
