My bad I was terribly wrong. Since 2008 (When Dabo took over) the average is just under 4. Vs the 2 that I said. And in all of those finishes 1 team finished in the top 5, and 2 finished in the top 10.
Huge difference.
Also how many Top 25 teams is a Power 5 conference supposed to have? Last time I checked 25/5 is 5. And there's usually a couple of nonPower Five teams sneaking into the lower top 25. Right now there's 2 (Notre Dame and BYU) but hovering right outside the Top 25 is Toledo, Houston, Temple and Memphis so once they rack up more wins they'll be in. In 2014 there were 4, 2013 there were 3, 2012 there were 6, 2011 there were 5, 2010 there were 5, in 2009 there 8, and in 2008 there were 6. So explain to me again why a P5 conference getting in 4 teams in the Top 25 every year is a bad thing?
