Really looking forward to watching this game today. Not sure who to root for. I guess I what to play Kansas.

ND would match up very well vs WS; that would be the better opponent for ND.
Kansas looks like a tougher W.

I think if we play our game, find our shooting touch a bit better than the first 2 games, we match up OK against either of these teams. So in the end, it's more on us ten the opponent, in this round

Wow Wichita State is good. I guess Wichita State will mess up with ND's offense.

ND just needs to shoot better than Wichita St. Actually, against any team, if ND shoots 50% plus they'll be in great shape. It's on the Irish to shoot well.

Did you see Shaquille Morris of Wichita State? He is 261 lbs with great block. Notre Dame will lost by 20 pts from Wichita State next Thursday night. I'll bet money with you.I was look on Wichita State's roster.Oh Wichita have many taller players than ND.
I will love to see Wichita State play KY.

Now you know why I said i would have rather played Kansas...the Shockers are Butler on 'roids...But, and this is huge, they just played their Super Bowl tonite. Wichita has been trying to play Kansas for over 20 years and KU has ducked them....tonite they got their shot and kicked ass.....don't know if they will have the same passion next week. But I definitely think we matched up better with KU....doesn't matter now...

Here are my matchups:

1 DJ vs Van Cleet ( THE key to the game) I say even . DJ plays with a chip on his shoulder every night. A great player. VC is experienced and talented.

2- Baker vs Vasturia nod to Baker close though . I do not think ND can put Grant on Baker because Cotton is quick .

3 Grant vs. Cotton nod to Grant

4 Pat vs. The 6-4 shooter nod to Pat

5 Auguste & Colson vs their centers ( 6-7 245) HMMM Which Zach shows up ?


This is how I see ND guarding them. Defending Van Cleet will be the key . If DJ can harass him all night ND has a great chance . ND has been defending very well lately. Size -wise both teams are similar . ND cannot allow WSU to out-3pt them on Thursday. IMO our AA has to take over the game ... This is going to be a nail biter on Thursday
