I have 5 guys I feel ND needs to step up their game this year in order for us to reach the next level.these are outside the obvious selection of Zaire.
1. Redfield......has AA caliber talent. After a year in BVG system I think he could be primed for a huge season.
2. Smythe........I see BK moving the pocket a lot this year which will open up a lot of crossing routes for our our TE's. We will also be talented on the outside which will draw safety attention.
3. Trumbetti/Okwara combination......these two need to become more disruptive and create some hurries, sacks and TFL.
4. Morgan......I think for our defense to be improved and more athletic, we need Morgan to be ready to step in and play at a high level. Morgan, Smith and James O would form a very athletic LB group.
5. Yoon.......pressure will be on the young kicker and many games are decided in the kicking game. We need him to be reliable or could cost us a few wins.
