Notre Dame currently has only 11 games on the schedule, with the Stanford series not having been renewed yet. Perhaps it still will be, but if there are any snags in that, here's an idea:

Looks like Oregon State and Washington State are gonna need some opponents for 2025. Would love to see ND fill that 12th slot with Oregon State. They're a decent team with an outside shot at a playoff spot this year. Even better if they'd agree to play the game in California over Thanksgiving weekend as that would be missing with no Stanford.

The Mountain West and Pac-12 conferences did not come to an agreement before Sunday's deadline to extend their football scheduling beyond the 2024 season.
