The schedule is set up for a Championship run in 2016. Only Three true road games !! Texas, North Carolina State and USC.

Notre Dame 28 to 10 over Texas.
Notre Dame 52 to 13 over Nevada. (Home)
Notre Dame 27 to 17 over Michigan State.(Home)
Notre Dame 38 to 6 over Duke (Home)
Notre Dame 31 to 12 over Syracuse (Neutral Site --Metlife in NJ)
Notre Dame 28 to 24 over North Carolina State
Notre Dame 24 to 23 over Stanford (Home)
Notre Dame 51 to 17 over Miami Fla. (Home)
Notre Dame 34 to 30 over Navy.(Neutral site--Jacksonville, Fla)
Notre Dame 55 to 10 over Army (Neutral site-Alamo dome--San Antonio,TX)
Notre Dame 27 to 0 over Virginia Tech (Home)
Notre Dame 49 to 40 over USC.

6 Home games. 3 Neutral sites and only 3 road games.

The tough game Michigan State. Stanford and USC are all spread out with 3 or 4 easier games in between.

*** Bob Diacos defense did not become great until the third year.
I expect BVG to lead a great defense his third year. (We all wanted Bob Diaco fired before that magical third year in 2012.

Josh Adams and T. Folston will have great years running behind a great Oline and Tori Hunter will be the next superstar wide receiver at ND. This will help the Irish QB'S and I think Malik and or Kizer will have great years !

Jones, Cage, Trumbetti. Tillery, Rochelle,Khaleed Kareem, will be one of the best Dlines ND has had like the Line in 2012 and the linebackers will be much better with Onwalu, Morgan, Coney. Greer Martini,

*** Bonus shocker prediction--- Max Redfield (Our third leading tackler in 2015) has a great season like Harrison Smith and becomes a first or second team AllAmerican.

***We will have even better special teams play with all the young cornerbacks and safties that are coming in the freshman class. CJ Sanders will continue his assault on Rockets and Rossums td return records and Yoon is clutch and NEWSOME will be the alltime best punter at ND.

Lets have some fun and lets see what you guys predict !!

I'll go with the end result, but think Duke will score more than six and Stanford less than twenty three, and Navy will not be closer than fourteen. But who the hell knows since Kelly will be in the NFL and take Malik with him and Sanford will be coaching the preseason Favorite to win the NC with Heisman favorite Kizer at QB, according to some of the silly posts that have dominated this week.

I think Texas will play us really hard - the way they played the Sooners - they will be upset after the mauling in South Bend.

we go unbeaten and SOS means diddly squat. IF we lose one it depends on when and where.

Michigan State has to get a new QB so I do not think with their graduation losses this year they will be all that tough. USC? Depends on how good their coach is. Stanford- Hogan is the key there.

Texas, Miami, MSU, Duke,Stanford, and USC will be scare game. MSU still have best defense for 2016. Miami got new HC and the staff that can lead Miami back in top 25 in 2016, Texas will get better and better in 2016. Duke still have best HC that won every 9 games last 3 year row. Stanford have 6'5 QB come up soon. USC will try to win more in 2016.

Similar to this year I believe ND will be in good position to win every regular season game. I think next year's schedule is actually easier than 2015. The bigger question to me, is that if ND does indeed make the playoffs, will ND really be prepared and good enough to win? Like others have posted Kelly has not won a major bowl or playoff game. I am not suggesting Kelly be fired, but like many of you I am growing so tired of being excited about the upcoming year with the strong recruiting classes, the development of possible All Americans and future NFL players only to end the season in disappointment, whether it's an 8-5 year or a loss in a major bowl. This is year 7. Year 7! How many ND coaches lasted 7 years without a championship title or major bowl win? 2016 HAS to be the year ND turns the corner. I would find it very hard to accept anything less than a playoff win or a new year's six bowl win, as acceptable.

End of rant. GO IRISH!

RAZOR THIN WINS!!!

28 to 24 over North Carolina State

24 to 23 over Stanford

34 to 30 over Navy

CLOSE WINS!!

27 to 17 over Michigan State

BLOW OUT QUESTION?

51 to 17 over Miami OK, let me make sure I understand you correctly. You will give Miami and 34 points vs. ND. Wow, apparently you are under the impression that Mark Richt was an absolutely terrible hire and a huge step down from the last regime? Concomitantly, you must be predicting that Miami may not win any games at all or at best will be a lowly bottom dweller in the ACC.

So, how does a poster go about getting a little action with your ND/Miami blow out prediction?

Also, what are chances of some of those razor thin wins going the other way?

Re: ND 51 to 17 over Miami

Interesting that USA Today Sports thinks quite highly of Miami going into 2016. They have ranked them in the top 25.

"Miami (Fla.) (2015 record: 8-5) The arrival of Mark Richt inspires hope that Miami will play up to its potential. That was an issue under Richt’s predecessor, Al Golden, but look for the former Georgia coach to find immediate success at his alma mater. It helps to have a quarterback, Brad Kaaya, who rivals Deshaun Watson for the title of the ACC’s best."

Sure would like to make that wager..........Miami +34 vs. ND!!!

I appreciate your optimism, but ND is losing a bit of talent, not sure I can say what other teams are losing, but I think MSU and Stanford might be at a championship level, USC and Miami could be much improved or really bad. I just can't make the call for undefeated. 10-2 at best, 8-4 is realistic.
