Now that we have completed our individual DL projections, I put together something on the entire D-Line. It's a big year for the DL. As it goes, so goes the offense. Jaylon Smith could be the best LB in the country and Nyles Morgan could be the second coming of Manti Te'o and if the DL struggles it won't matter one bit.
Some interesting numbers from last year.
In the first six games, the DL had 8 sacks and 25 QB hurries.
In the final seven games, the DL had 6 sacks and 7 QB hurries.
Numbers that must be improved upon....dramatically.
ND also only had 36.5 TFL's from its DL and had just 13 sacks.
