15th ranked irish vs 10 ranked florida st gameday thread

our 15th ranked irish travel down to florida to take on the nations 10th ranked team at 7pm tonight on the ACCN. don't know much about florida st other than the fact that they play a 12 man rotation according to the guys on espn which is crazy when you think about it. i think that if our irish win this game and go 6-0 in league play that they'll win their first acc regular season title even though they'll still have several games left

Man, FSU has depth and heighth.....Bad combination for an undersized ND team..... Surprised FSU isn't favored by more. I will never say we don't have a chance but we better hit our 3s and keep turnovers low. If we can keep rebounding margin semi-close, I think we will win.

I agree. FSU comes to the Bend on Feb 11th. Would love (and hope) the Irish to go 2-0 against the Noles but realistically looking (and hoping) for a 1-1 split.

How is this game blacked out on watch espn? Does anyone know how I can watch this? I've tried ACC's website, WatchESPN, etc. cannot find anything to stream it.

(I'm at work, makes it a bit more difficult)

Only if you call Farrell getting hacked from behind on a layup he ended up missing a bad call...... There's been a few like that so Coach Brey was right to get a T there at the end of the half.

I also tried that but couldn't get anything but the blackout message. I live in Indiana and unless you have dish or directv then you aren't going to get a lot of acc games down in the south I guess

Not really. Brey isn't allowed to recruit big time talent. Swarbrick ties his hands. It's amazing what he's able to do with the little talent he has. FSU is allowed to recruit anyone they want.

Well, the Noles have to come north next month and home court advantage will be with the Irish.

Odd that an Evansville channel was televising the BC/Virgina game.

2-1 in a six-day stretch of road games. Syracuse at the Bend on Saturday.

Hell, the way Jack called the first half, you'd think ND should've had 10 points from fouls that weren't called (which is why Brey got the technical).

I suspect a little homecooking, but I'm not blaming it on the refs. It would've been one hell of a story if they dished it out for a 3 to tie it.

Here in Maryland I have the blackout on ESPN and ACC network too, but got the game on Comcast sport on my TV.

Some questionable calls by the refs in the first half. But also fsu's size and depth were what we had to fight against. Looks like they blocked a lot of our shots .. Several which probably would have been called goaltending by another crew.

But our guys fought to the end ... Got last two shots blocked after stealing inbounds pass with 4 secs left. So I don't consider this a bad loss.
