I hope you are this chirpy next week after loss to Sparty. I would love a bowl game against Iowa. It would probably be the easiest team to play among top tier teams (don't kid yourself you are not really a top tier). Only reason you are 12-0 is because you didn't have to play OSU, UM, MSU so far.

Iowa 2015 = Hawaii 2007. After getting taken to the woodshed by MSU, I truly wish ND gets Iowa in a bowl game for two reasons.

My guess is that Vegas would have an ND/Iowa matchup with ND as a six point favorite, but ND would win by a much larger score. Iowa is about a top 15 team. That's a compliment by the way!
Iowa went undefeated in a conference that has 5 top 15 teams. They have one game in common with Stanford - @ northwestern, a top 15 team on the road. Stanford lost and Iowa won 40-10! How can you compare 2007 Hawaii to an undefeated p5 team. I would compare them more to 2012 notre dame. Although MSU is very good and I would expect them to win next week. Is Iowa a top 4 team? Probably not but they deserve their ranking. Notre dame is not a top 4 team either and I would take the Hawkeyes.

After Iowa loses next week, you guys can join the other 15 Iowa fans in relative obscurity for next 5-6 years until you another team full of 23 and 24 year old fith year seniors. If Brian Kelly had the same record as Kirk Ferentz has had in the last 6 years, he wouldn't be coaching at ND. Taking credit for having great teams in your conference who you do not even play is asinine. Your argument of beating Northwestern makes you better than another who you haven't played makes non sense. they beat #13 NU by 30 and #25 Wisconsin on the road. And they also lost to NO ONE. Sure beats NDs signature wins of Temple on a "neutral" field, Navy at home, and USC at home.
Easily better than Stanford? Or northwestern who beat Stanford? Maybe the latter but how could you say "easily."
I like Iowa. KF is a good old school coach. Iowa plays is good fundamental football. They beat the teams that are on their schedule which is all anyone can do. Having said that, I believe ND has too much speed for Iowa. Of course we will never know. I would like to see Iowa win it all, but I don't see that happening. I think MSU beats Iowa. I hope I'm wrong.
