Not a good look...? LSU

Ask Marcus Freeman. It can.
You think so? Here is one pundit's take on Kelly:

"Welcome to purgatory, folks. It won’t get worse from here, but it won’t get much better either. As long as Kelly is the head coach for the LSU Tigers, they will be a good program, but they will never be a great one either. But don’t worry, next year will be better, or at least that is what Kelly will tell you.

Who knows exactly what Marcus Freeman will accomplish at Notre Dame but one thing is certain, he won’t make a bunch of excuses along the way. Whether it works out or doesn’t, there will be accountability at every step. It’s a refreshing perspective that Irish fans are still getting used to after being brainwashed for over a decade."

And after the Bama beatdown LSU fans are getting restless:

Fighting Kelly’s of LSU

My reading comprehension skills remain as keen as ever, I was just trying to remind a few Kelly haters that he’s doing quite well financially

As to his performance, he’s only had two full years under his belt

I think the real line of demarcation is his fourth and fifth year when the team is composed entirely of his recruits.

The Bama blowout certainly isn’t a résumé builder
Fools gold.
I said it years ago!

He does just good enough to tease you but never actually gets over the top.

In his case the top simply being one single victory in a major bowl/playoff game.
Matter of fact the BK apologists will take a close game in those moments for a positive.
Something else he's yet to do. A close game in those moments.

Still looking for his first.

But hey...
He kinda sorta gets close and he sells himself well enough.

Basketball MBB: Career night for Tae Davis helps Notre Dame avoid upset against Buffalo

Notre Dame didn't play great defense. It couldn't hit from 3. But the Irish still managed to put away Buffalo after trailing at halftime.

“This is a win where you have to be a group that shows a lot of resolve,” said head coach Micah Shrewsberry.
