Unfortunately we know that won't happen. SEC and BIG 10 want to get as many teams from their conference into the playoffs. ACC, B12, and G5 need to be included or they will sue and win.

The rankings themselves are biased. Alabama loses to Vanderbilt and they only drop 4-5 spots. Meanwhile, an ACC or B12 team has a similar bad loss and they drop 10-11 spots.

Realistically, the G5 has no business having a team included in the playoff let alone getting a bye.

Got conflicting reports from presser. The mayor of New Orleans said it was a terrorist attack. The FBI said too early to call it a terrorist attack but would be the lead investigator going forward. Also that they are look for IED explosives.
