Question for the feeble minded.

Not comparing Tucker to Jim Acosta. I'm comparing Jim Acosta to Fox's reporters who do the same thing. Tucker would be similar to the late-night talking heads at MSNBC, who in full disclosure, I don't watch for the same reason that I think late-night Fox shows are trash.

If you don’t watch those shows, as you state, how can you evaluate them ?

How can you claim that a show that you don’t watch, is “trash” ?

Which FOX White House Reporters act out like Acosta? Sam Donaldson used to be the poster child for aggressive reporter behavior and questioning, but Acosta has taken this to a whole new level where he is the story. Don’t know how anyone, regardless of party affiliation or political persuasion, can like or defend his antics.
He's as bad as helen hezbollah thomas

Any decent reporter regarding smollet would've asked him
What whites in Chicago besides jay "Everyday is St. Patrick's Day" cutler would be walking the streets at 2am in -20° weather

Jussie Smollett’s neighbors cast doubt on his attack story
By Gabrielle Fonrouge

February 11, 2019 | 5:02am

“I don’t believe it happened the way he said it did,” said Agin Muhammad, who lives in the same swank high-rise near the Navy Pier as Smollett.

“I’ve been in this neighborhood five years. I don’t believe it, not around here … Half the people are gay and the other half are black.”

A patron at Lizzie McNeill’s Irish Pub, about a block from the scene of the alleged Jan. 29 incident, said Smollett’s story “doesn’t really make sense.”

“It’s a lie, because Chicago is the most liberal city around,” said the man, who wouldn’t give his name. “They have cameras everywhere … Why can’t they find the attack?”

Whoever the idiot is that thinks there's not any national/federal firearm laws has clearly conducted zero research in that assessment

You don't need to make the local dump your home to know it is trash.

Your statement above is beyond stupid.

You’ve predisposed the conclusion by defining an existing substandard condition and comparing it to presumed superior condition.

If you’ve NEVER seen a show how can you evaluate it ?

I tend to think he's a bit of a grandstander myself, but I think I'm able to discern between what's actual news that's being reported and what is hyperbole.

Just because I don't watch them currently doesn't mean that I haven't watched them in the past. I know what late-night pundit-centered shows are like.

Aaahhhhh, you added a caveat, a new qualifier, the word “currently”

That changes your original statement.

"Don't" is a present tense verb. It doesn't indicate that I never did so in the past. For example, it would be correct to say that I "don't" go to Notre Dame. It would be incorrect to assume that that means that I never did go to Notre Dame.

And the edit ?

“Don’t “ can be all inclusive, past, present and future tense.

When you say that you “don’t” do men, it can mean that you’ve never had sex with a man, that you’re not currently having sex with a man and that you’re not having sex with men in the future.

When you say I “don’t “ watch TV, it can mean that you never watched TV.

Just like when you say, “I don’t” go to New York City, it can mean that you never went to New York City and won’t be going there in the future.

I think between the two of us, I'd probably know better than you regarding my intent for a statement.

You may know what your intent was, but we know what you committed to writing and posted on this thread.

The only thing we can go by is what you wrote, not what you intended

Everyone understands what you wrote

You may be one of the more dense people here, which is not a surprise.

Poet, who I may say is probably diametrically opposed to me politically, seemed to understand what I meant just fine.

DIP “seemed to understand” ?
That would imply that you’re not sure if he understood.
What was his “intent” ?

DIP’s political views are irrelevant on the issue at hand, as are yours.

We can only rely on your written words as posted on this thread/site, not your “intent”.

I haven’t read about anyone on this site possessing psychic powers, hence your “intent” will remain a mystery to all but yourself.

Don’t get upset with me because you chose the wrong words to express your “intent”.

I believe that we inferred exactly what you implied vis a vis your written words.

If you intend to make your intent crystal clear you’re going to have to be more articulate such that dense folks like myself and others don’t infer other than what you meant to imply

I’m not a Trump supporter, but I also 100% don’t believe in taking taxpayers’ money to pay for a bunch of lazy kids to get 2.0 GPA’s in college.
I also don’t believe anybody can tell me how to best use my money.
The reason certain people are successful is because they make good judgements, & don’t need others to tell them how to use their wealth.
I actually give a lot less now than I used to once I moved up another tax bracket & had much more taken from me. The funny thing is a can guarantee the amount I was giving & who I was giving it to was much, much, much more beneficial than what is being done with what they are taking from me now.
Intelligent, successful people do way more with their donations than the idiots who take it from them to give to freeloaders.
I donated my money & time to help inner-city youth off the streets & to get into college. Our program is WAY more successful than the crap the government now takes my money to give to freeloading, lazy, excuse makers.
"The reason certain people are successful is because---

Our tax laws are written by the powerful and rich to benefit, guess who, yep,the rich and powerful.

The Democratic party wants to make it an even game in the struggle to succeed.
Take a hard look at "Capitalism" here at home. What we have is Socialism for the powerful and Capitalism for the rest of our citizens.
Don't believe me ? Look at our tax laws, our subsidies to corporations, our factory farms, the myth of the small farmer is steadily disappearing.
Corporations can promise pensions and medical benefits but don't fund them and conveniently claim they can't meet their obligations and laughingly pass the costs off to us,the public.Corporations keep their profits, shield them from taxes,Amazon hasn't paid a dime in taxes yet, but when they get really greedy and start to fail by looting their own assets or making bad investments,we step in and reward them.

So come again and assure me that unbridled Capitalism is good for us.

What subsidies to corporations ?

How can corporations promise medical benefits and not fund them ?

How can U.S. corporations shield their profits from taxes.

Tell us how a progressive income tax rate favors the rich.

Bodi, sadly in the end the Libs and Dems will get what they deserve- a broken poor divided 3rd rate 3rd world nation.
