He'd never survive the vetting process at Notre Dame. I get that. That's why Lane is in the SEC.

That said, IMO, he's bordering on elite on the cfb level. I can't name 5 better head coaches. IMO, he's that good.

I have followed him since USC and being fired on the tarmac.

I enjoy Lane. Good coach, very entertaining, and seems to be a good parent. Not a cultural fit with ND though. Square peg, round hole
